Robust Box...Good Solid Extension Speaker Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
These Motorola speakers are a bargain on the used market. Nothing fancy, but they beat out most internal HF radio speakers. I recently picked up a couple of them...4032. I've been using a small Hi Fi Radio Shack speaker, but at times the tweeter allows too much noise to be heard. The Motorola has a more limited frequency range, and is well-suited to HF radio. No doubt, there are better speakers, but for around $15 on eBay, these are very well built.

You just can't beat Motorola Quality Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Picked up one of these at the TRW Swapmeet last Saturday. New in box for $15. After discovering exactly what this was on the Motorola Business and Government product website, I wish I bought another exact one they had for sale for $10 (without the mounting bracket).

This is what appears to be an updated version of the ubiquitous commercial Motorola mobile speaker. The durable plastic housing is classic Motorola qualtiy, with contemporary rounded corners, smoothed edges, and very lightweight.

There was no pricing nor detailed description on Motorola's site that I found other than the Product Description first seen above.

After replacing the Motorola connector with a 3.5mm mono plug, the speaker was hooked up to my Kenwood TS-480SAT. This speaker is capable of astounding audio levels while retaining great clarity. It includes an adjustable mounting bracket.

This speaker may outperform my favorite Kenwood SP-51B, albeit the Kenwood is slightly thinner and likely a better fit for my below the headrest mounting position in the car. Here in the shack, however, this Motorola is more than able to fill the room with sound, and is amply driven directly from the rig without additional power.

If you see one of these, grab it. Plus the 13W power handling capacity and water resistance make this a truly durable unit.

Very 73 to all
