the history is alive Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have now my collection comleted with all versions. Yes... the TS 280 was first a 10W / 40 Ch / 145 MHz radio, got later 80 Ch and 50 Watts with the added amplifier. But I also have the TS 280 as the 4-band 144,145,146&147 MHz @ 40 Ch each band version. The TS 800 was the big brother with BCD coder switch to select the frequency. great and easy to use. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I picked up one of these for £25 on eBay for use on my club net.
When I bought it I did not think I would use it a great deal but I have fallen in love with it.
Its really easy to use the audio is nice both on send a receive.
Its really solid and well made and has lots of power available but as a UK M3 mine is throttled back to 10 watt at this power its nice a cool even after hours of use.

On the down side its old fashioned and has no frequency read out. This doesn’t bother me at all.
