Excellent Antenna Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Beautiful antenna. Works great. In a deed restricted neighborhood , so it's only up 20 feet. I work everything I hear. The only caveat is, make sure you seal the top and bottom sections together very good. It will get moisture in it and kill the swr. Just take it apart and let it dry. Good as new.

great triband antenna Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I have my X6000 on my crank up tower ( 70 ft up) for a little less than 6 months now. I used to have an X30 on top but since I replaced this small vertical by the X6000 I can work stations and repeaters over 200 miles away with 80 watts out of my IC9700 on 144 Mhz. I 'm located only 100 ft above sealevel , surrounded by small hills over 150 ft but my vertical X6000 is a great upgrade. Working stations I never heard before on VHF/UHF. There are only limited stations QRV on 23 cm so the best I did so far was about 20 miles on this band. But I'm QRV on 23/70/2 !

Superb quality excellent results Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Assembly was straight forward and very well documented. I mounted it temporary on a 9ft pole mounted to the wall at the roof.
Results are very good. Especially on 1.2GHz where the gain is 10dB. 10Watts with 10dB gain makes a ERP difference for sure.
I had already very positive experiences with a X300 that was in service from 2006 thru 2017 without problems. That's why I went again for a Diamond antenna but this time connected to my IC-9700. Diamond have improved on the fastening from the antenna to the tube holder by using two stainless steel screws and the body where the 3 radials are screwed in is now chrome plated brass.
Don't buy cheap imitation junk but go for the real stuff!

Performs as Expected Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Well-built and tolerant of some nasty wind/ice conditions at 84' on this mountaintop QTH.

Excellent antenna Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Bought this when i was thinking of getting into some 23 cm activity, and was also getting tired of hand-crafting little dipoles or using portable antennas for 2m / 70cm.

This was some of the best money i've spent on an antenna.

It's light, and has survived all the miserable weather that Ottawa has seen in the last year. Excellent performance on receive and transmit.

It's light and easy to manoeuver and mount. I may get another one of these for portable use atop a painter's pole as a do a lot of mini-expedition/event sort of setups.

Diamond X-6000A used with Kenwood TS-2000X Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This is overall a good antenna for use with the Kenwood TS-2000X model radio. It provides coverage on 2-Meters, 70-CM, and 23-CM. The SWR on all three bands is pretty good and equal overall. I will note that in the past, I owned a Diamond X-510, which in my opinion, is a much better performing antenna. The is not much 23-CM activity in the Philadelphia area any longer so I am considering going back to the Diamond X-510 and selling off the TS-2000X radio, but if you've got 23-CM activity in your area, they this is the setup for you.

Beautifylly made, great performer Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This is a beautifully made antenna, no automotive style hose clamps here. Definetly not a throwaway antenna, this is built to last. The two sections go together with a gasket to keep water out. Mine has been up for three years now, with no problems at all. I can work 23 cm repeaters more than 15 miles away with 1 watt feeding through 50' of semi-rigid feed line. The antenna is only 25' above ground level. On 2 meters with 50 watts I can work repeaters 75 miles away eaisly. Remember, due to 23 cm capability, it has a 'N' connector. I reccommend this antenna highly.
