Simply Amazing!!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I bougth my first Turbo Tuner exclusive for IC-7000 @ Dayton 2010. It is fantastic! Simply push TUNE on radio, and it automaticaly set my little tarheel antenna to the desire frequency.
One week later, I decided to buy another Turbo Tuner for icom radios to use with my 706 in my car. The same great work as the other one.
Now I'm ordering the third one to use in my PY2AAZ mobile station in Brazil, using also a Tarheel Antenna. Great job Bill. 73.

Turbo Tuner => Turbo Installation Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I purchased this screwdriver controller to replace a manual switch controller.

Spent 10 minutes installing a connector for the motor controller, programmed the IC-706MKIIG, set the dip switches and the controller worked as advertised.

The antenna is a Hi-Q. As always make sure that the motor control line is properly choked to prvent common mode interference.

This is really is a nifty box!

Best Investment I've Ever Made Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Easy plug and play (less than 10 mins) with the Yaesu FT-857D. Always less than 1.5 swr and most of the time flat at 1 to 1. Customer service was great. Ordered a couple days before Orlando hamfest and didn't expect it to ship till after the hamfest but received it tuesday after. No problems with the tuner at all.

Outstanding Product!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I ordered one from Bill and received it in 2 days. It took all of 15 minutes to hook it to my IC-7000 and my High Sierra Tarheel and it worked like a champ! Thanks Bill for a wonderful product. I couldn't be happier.

WOW What a tuner!!!!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have the Turbo Tuner for the Yaesu FT-450 and it works like a champ tuning my ground mounted Tarheel Model 300 A from 160 meters to 10 meters and anywhere in between with low SWRs.... Bill has got a big winner here.......

Superb Turbo Tuner Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I’ve had a good play with the Turbo Tuner. I am gob smacked just how good this little piece of equipment works. No matter what frequencies I wanted to transmit on it tuned it with an excellent SWR reading too throughout the whole scope I used. I have been using it on my Icom 706 (original) and my new little Tarheel 2 antenna on my Citroen Picasso C4 Grand. I’ve been talking to Japan, Hungary, Italy, Portugal just to mention a few, this Turbo Tuner is a excellent tuner, once its reached and found the best setting for you it sounds a “K” tone to let you know it’s finished and its ready for you to play. I would personally recommend this tuner to anyone who is thinking about getting one. It really does do what it says it does...every time too. The installation instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I am using mine with my new Little Tarheel 2 on a strong tail mount and as long as you have a good earth both these pieces work fantastically. 2E0DTI. Isle of Wight. UK.

Great unit Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
After fooling with a Yaesu FT-857D and a ATAS antenna for a year I decided to upgrade. Actually when the ATAS decided to work it would take several minutes to think about the frequency and move. Also I never could get it to work on 15 meters. So I decided to upgrade it all (I love to run HF mobile and have for many years. Purchased an Icom 7000 and a Tarheel II to see how it would work. It seemed to work well on ALL bands (what a novelty for me). After a month I decided to automate the process and ordered the Turbo Tuner specifically for the IC-7000. About 15 minutes after opening the box (I had already set up the Icom while waiting for it to arrive) I was on the air. The TT was put through its paces on all bands and it performed flawlessly. Good signal reports on several bands said to me the TT was doing what it should. This was a great investment. I would suggest that Bill update his web site to indicate the IC-7000 model, since it is a bit less than the combo unit for the 706 and 7000. It really make it fun to mobile on HF

Works as specified Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I installed my Turbo Tuner for the IC 7000 two weeks ago and it works as promised right out of the box. So far I have contacts on 20 meters and 40 meters with out any trouble. It does take longer to tune than my AT 7000 did, but that is to be expected. So far, so good. If it tanks, I will make a new entry.
