Great for portable ops! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Nice size. Good looks. Easy to transport and runs off the minimal power available on most radios' accesory connectors.

The cable for use with my IC706MKIIG was included and it seems to be able to tune everywhere my MFJ-969 will.

The LDG-200 doesn't seem to like reactive loads, and I wish it would tune just a little wider, but all in all, a great tuner! Of course if you've seen some of the brain-dead antenna designs I've come up with you would understand! HI!

Will grind away to find you a match, but when you return to that freq, *CLICK*, you're matched up in a fraction of a second.

Definitely good value for the money. Works as advertised.

73!

Good tuner, works really fast.. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This is a great piece of ham equipment. It works well in most situations. I have had some trouble with it on 15 meters, it has trouble matching, but that could be my antennas or a ground problem. I have used it with a G5RV and a long wire. One thing I don’t like is the use of the LEDs for telling you what the tuner is doing. If you do not use it regularly you tend to forget what all the flashing LEDs mean. If you don’t change anything and just switch bands with the same rig and antenna it is great and very fast. One suggestion for LDG is to have a place in the manual for quick reference on what the various flashing LEDs mean. I have read through the manual several times and I have trouble figuring out what some of the flashings mean. I recently upgraded the version by ordering and installing a new version chip. It is a little difficult to get the old chip out but once installed it worked fine and it did not lose any of the antenna memories, that is a nice touch.

Simple to use Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Used with a FT-847, simple to wire up, no control cable from FT-847 required.
Seems to rattle away a bit as it tunes up, but once it is tuned, it just gets on with the job.

Excellent product, will buy again from LDG!

Excellent Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This auto tuner (unlike the one built in to my FT 990) will tune all of 160 Meters on my wire antenna (trapped 1/4 wave 160 sloper)Once it has been tuned to a frequency and you come back to it after an excursion elsewhere it is quick to remember the previous setting. I am using it with a TS 480HX with very, very favorable results.

great Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
this is a up date
well having used the ldg 200 pro i cant Fault it in any way, there is only one thing that i dont like is that According to the uk ham shops you only get 1 years warranty in the uk thats not fair other than that this is a great tuner well done LDG but please give a 2 year warranty in the uk.

Superb Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have been using the AT-200Pro for over a year with a Yaesu FT-897. It replaced LDG's AT-897 which bolts on the side of the rig. The 200Pro matches a Carolina Windom 160-Special on frequencies the AT-897 could not. The rig sits perfectly atop the tuner and the two look like they were designed for each other. I have no hesitation at all in recommending this tuner.

Excellent ! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I bought my LDG AT-200Pro Autotuner baout four months ago, because I was tired of manually tuning my mfj 949D every time I changed bands. Using a G5RV, AT 30 feet high [ 10 metres metric], the AT-200Pro will tune 80-10 m, with terrific reports at barefoot power. Yes, it does clank and clunk on a new band, but once tuned, it remembers the settings, and works as smooth as silk when you return to the frequency.
Had I known, I would have had one of these sooner !
I highly recommend this auto-tuner.

5 Stars almost ... Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I live about two miles from an 1480 Khz AM medium wave broadcast station and am in its major lobe. This signal is a full 60 dB over S-9. I also do not have the best earth ground for my station either. So, perhaps this unit really deserves a 5. However, when I first started using my AT200pro it occasionaly would retune itself to another frequency. I finally confirmed my suspicion (and through calls to LDG) that it was sensing the 1480 Khz signal and often trying to retune itself. I solved this problem by installing a RADIOWORKS ISOLATOR in line with the coax as it enters the shack. I could have also used other lower cost ferrite techniques as well. Since then this has been a 5 star auto tuner that I am impressed with. It enables me to use the entire six meter band on my Cushcraft R7 with great signal reports as well. I hope LDG engineering can "look into" or upgrade this model to not respond to other strong local RF signals such as encounterd in Ham shacks, multi-op situations, field day, living near other transmitters, etc. It seems this model would be great in the car as well. 73, Ken

Away with manual tuning Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
The reviews on this site convinced me to exchange my manual tuner for an automatic tuner. I have it now 2 months and it works as advertised ! I use it now with a tri band vertical. I even work DX on 10 and 18.
My next antenna will be a windom that I shall plug into the second antenna input. (Re)tuning when changing bands or going up and down the band is an idea of the past! Worth every dollar.

Excellent equipment Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Bought new from GigaParts in January, 2006, using Icom interface cable to IC706MkII-G. Since purchase, I've been tuning an Alpha-Delta DX4020 (attic); last couple of weeks that and Hustler 6BTV vertical, ground-mounted over 40 radials.

No sense rehashing the clatter-clack notes; suffice to say that, once I learned how to use it, this tuner made a believer out of me. In terms what it does and how it does it, I'm fully pleased.

Yes, I'd like meters instead of reading the LED's; yes, I'd like a discrete indicator for the current antenna; but these are preferences, not requirements. The tuner works as advertised and I'll probably never buy anything but LDG from now on.
