Great Performer! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I frequently operate QRP portable from various locations in the Pacific Northwest & typically take a BuddiPole, a kanga Pole and a DK9SQ Loop (in conjuction w/ the kanga Pole)

I've consistently found the Par EndFed to outperform these other antennas. It's quick & easy to throw one end of the Par up into a tree, or to use the Kanga Pole as a support. Unlike the others, the Par needs no tuning after erecting it oor changing bands. Also, unlike the others, it is small & sturdy, and not subject to the frequent "breaking of elements, assemblies, etc I've experienced with the others. I can typically achieve a S-unit or greater performance with the Par.

So much smaller, convenient & quicker to erect than the others at a fraction of their cost!

Excellent multi band antenna, no tuner required Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I was looking for an antenna that I could use with my QRP rig on CW on more that one band, and with out a tuner. Well this antenna does the job. It is very easily set up and exceeds my working expectations, it is further enhanced by the new self locking end insulator, no tools needed for length adjustments.

When I completed the installation I was anxious to get on 40 CW but there was a lull in the activity so I QSY'd to the 7.290 traffic net, checked in with 5 watts, 5x6 report, (TX-OK). The VSWR is < 1.8:1 in the phone portion while it was tuned for optimum in the CW portion of 40 meters. Both 10 and 20 work equally the same. No contacts yet on 10 meters. The antenna can be configured in several ways, mine is a sloper. It works!

As all of the PAR products that I have used, and that I am currently using the antenna is very well made, and it works as advertised. The design makes it very portable and it is an ideal companion to any QRP or low power rig, very easy to install in any location at home or away and it is stealthy. I am anxious to try out the QUAD band version when it becomes available.
