Just get one! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I got one of these speakers for a little self purchased Christmas present, for an application we have here on our test bench. Guess what? It is a better communications speaker then the other expenive radio speakers I have here. This is not a music speaker but one that is clear and powerful for CW and SSB use. I am going to get a couple more before Paul raises the price! Thanks OM for making this little gem.

Nice item, long delivery Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I ordered the speaker on 1/10/07 via internet and received it on 2/1/07. Twenty one days to receive it from Ohio to Florida. That's why its a "4" rating. The speaker itself is on power with the audio of Heath's HS-1661 and SB-600. It has a VERY nice quality about the audio and can handle full power from my TS-2000 without distortion. Built to last forever and has a small footprint. Sounds a 100% better than my Kenwood SP-230. You'll never need another speaker again in this life time. I will be getting more for my other equiptment in the shack. Thanks es 73's..

Great Speaker! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I'm new to HF and still building up the ham shack. Wanted a quality speaker at an affordable price. Based on the reviews on eHam and a previous order with Palstar we had one on the way. Well made, solid speaker with nicely constructed enclosure. Infinely better sounding than the Radioshack speaker it replaced. Matches the ICOMs as well. Great customer support from Paul. 73'

Great Shortwave Speaker Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have been looking for a speaker to complement the great audio from my Lowe HF-150 shortwave receiver and have finally found it in the Palstar SP30, I have been using a Heathkit speaker and although the SP30 is not quite as sensitive the audio quality is far superior, no filters or anything and didn't want them as I use a great Autek QF-1A. Excellent construction and service as well another great Palstar product

Excellent !! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Well built, sounds nice, not tinny sounding. A BIG step above the other station matching speakers that I have. I'll buy another for the station!

Good Speaker - Sounds Great Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Bought a SP-30 Speaker from Palstar at Dayton 2006. Audio from Icom 756 Pro III sounds great on both SSB and CW. The usual Palstar sturdy construction in a fairly small package (6"x6"x6"). Much better value and performance than the optional speakers from K-I-Y.

Excellent Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
A very well built and attractive speaker. Works very well with the Palstar R30 receiver, but would be an excellent choice for most amateur and shortwave receivers or transceivers.
