| OUTSTANDING SERVICE & CRAFTMANSHIP |
Time Owned: more than 12 months. |
After my Yaesu FT-920 developed NB "garbage" and the RX sensitivity seemed "reduced", I emailed John to see if he would work on my radio with both INRAD SSB & Roofing Filter mods. installed. Within a week after shipping my radio, the multiple problems had been pinpointed, leads resoldered and rerouted, and the RX and TX sections aligned. The NB now works superbly with no IMD distortion at all.
John was always available by phone to answer questions and discuss possible fixes. He explained his troubleshooting procedures and carefully listed the problems and repair options. The radio now works perfectly and I am delighted to be back "Contesting" and "DXing" again.
John has my backing 100% for any radio that needs repairing to a "better than new" status! |

| Yaesu FT990 Intermittant Keys |
Time Owned: more than 12 months. |
| Absolutely exceptional and excellent service. John's professionalism and familiarity with the FT-990 and it's intermittant panel key problem was very reassuring. He ended up checking, restoring and undating numerous functions, replaced backup battery, added resister to meter lamp to extend lamp life. corrected numerous solder flaws, etc.. Provided a detailed service invoice. It is now working perfectly... I am absolutely delighted. Follow all his instructions for proper packing and service. |

| John, KI4NR TOP SHELF GUY |
Time Owned: 0 to 3 months. |
HI All,
I am a happy camper. I received my lightning-struck Kenwood TS-690S/AT back from repair today. The man is a master craftsman, it looks like brand new and works perfectly, He enclosed BEFORE photos of the lightning damage and attempted repairs from another shop, and AFTER photos of his completed repairs. What a difference!!
I will highly recommend John Bolduc, KI4NR, of LPC Wireless, Inc to all my discerning Ham friends for their consideration if they have lightning damaged, or radios with serious problems. You will need to make an appointment, and be patient. You will not be disappointed.

| A +++ Highly recommended |
Time Owned: more than 12 months. |
I was referred to LPC by friends in FL who have been using John’s service for many years. I heard nothing but positive remarks about his work and how good his final product works. He does a great job and his work is quality. He is a busy fellow but he believes in taking on one radio at a time till it is finished and ready to go. When I got my TS 450S back from LPC John had sent me emails with all the work he had done and a detailed statement of his work and charges.
The radio looks and operates like a brand new rig. I have had nothing but compliments about my signal strength and how good and clean my audio is. I don’t use an amplifier only my 100+ watts and still can be heard fine. My receiver had problems and John repaired and aligned it and now I hear stations on 40m and 75m I could hardly hear before.
Great Job on all John and I certainly appreciate your dedication to quality. I highly recommend John and LPC Wireless. You won’t be disappointed.

| OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!! |
Time Owned: more than 12 months. |
My pride and joy Yaesu FT-990, started suffering some very strange effects. I looked in here for a repair shop and saw that John's was very highly recommended. I gave him a call, explained my problem and he was almost 100% sure what the problem was before he even looked at it. He walked me thru a quick trouble shoot over the phone and confirmed what he thought the problem was. Turn around time was great and when I got my 990 back... HOLY COW!!! It operated better than it ever had. He not only fixed the regulator board (which was the problem), but he went thru the entire rig completely, fixing other issues that were about to show their ugly face. He completely realigned the rig, did updates on certain older parts AND opened up the transmit for the new 60 meter band allocation we have now, all for one tremendously low price!!
After getting the 990 back and hooking it up, I made a couple local calls on 20 meters and the guys I spoke to asked if I had broken down and bought a new rig, cuz it sounded great and signal strength was great!
They could not believe it was my 990.
John is the ONLY person that will EVER put his hands on any of my rigs. His customer service skills are the best, not to mention his tech skills. John is the best bet ANY rig will ever have for repair. He knows exactly what he's doing and is a very compassionate and knowledgeable guy as well.
If you have a repair that needs to be done, send it to John.
I GUARANTEE you will not be disappointed. John literally is the best!

John is GREAT! He fixed the radio fast and perfect! First time Yaesu FT-817 was in he repaired it and updated it. This time the vol/sq pot was broken, he replaced it, and had it back in the same week. can't say enough good things.

| SIMPLY THE BEST |
Time Owned: more than 12 months. |
| Not only was John easy to work with, he showed great competence in repairing my radio. He went beyond the simple repair, though, and made my radio better by installing fixes that will prevent future problems. It simply doesn't get any better than this.....unless you consider that his turnaround time was incredibly fast. We all know how difficult it can be when our radios go down...John made it painless, easy, and returned a better product than I sent to him. |

| Fantastic Service!! |
Time Owned: 0 to 3 months. |
| Truly unbelievable service! I know it can't be typical but he received my Icom on a Friday and mailed it back on the following Monday repaired! I realize that he can't do that all the time but I certainly appreciate his service and his very open communication about what he did to repair it. I hope I don't need repairs again but if I do I know where to send it. |

This might be a little long, but John deserves it!
I have never met John before I delivered my radios to him and I recieved NO discount for this review.
First, I have extensive test equipment and the experience to use it. My normal service is "boatanchors", and I personally own over 100 radios and almost that number of 'vintage' test equipment. All of which I have refurbished. However, the two radios John recently fixed were my 'babys' and both were purchased new. I am very particular about the cosmetic condition of my equipment, but after meeting John, I had NO qualms.
Radio #1 is an Icom 745. It's 40 years old and still had the original battery. Many years ago, the xmitter stopped working. I went through Icom's "Knowledge Base' but it still wouldn't xmit. Since this radio has only had less than 1 hour xmit time, and these vintage Icoms are known for bad trimmer caps, I thought I'd bring it to John with radio #2, the main problem. My 761 had a similar cap problem.
Radio #2. This is an original 756PRO, I bought in Tokyo when they were first announced. It is my favorite for many reasons, including nostalgic. Since I'm retired, I'll never be able to afford the latest 'state of the art', so I really enjoy the PRO.
Anyway, about a year ago, I took a direct lightning hit on the AC powerline. It took out a LOT of things in the house. The first thing I checked was the PRO. It received fine. I eventually repaired all the other stuff that blew up, (TVs, Astron P/S, mast mounted preamp, two rotor control boxes, etc). The radios are always disconnected from the antennas and the feedlines grounded. Towers are well grounded and antennas fed with hardline.
A couple of months ago, I went to xmit on the PRO and it was nfg. Knowing Icom has an issue with the IC151/drivers, I decided to let John have at it.
His knowledge and enthusiam are almost unbelieveable! There is NO way I am shipping these radios via USPS or UPS (had toooo many bad experiences) and John was only 2 1/2 hours away. I thought I'd just drop them off, but John carefully pulled each radio out from the boxes, went through each one while I watched. His work space is very neat and professional!
Bottom line: he replaced all the trimmers in the 745, replace a diode, cleaned the T/R relay, replaced the battery did an alignment, and did all the service updates..
The PRO had the drivers replaced and checked out.
Both work better than new, which is flat out amazing. Both were as clean and as pristine as delivered. John demonstrated both radios while I watched and both are back home...
John is THE MAN!!!

| Great FP29 Power Supply Repair |
Time Owned: more than 12 months. |
John is great radio technician. When I called him about the failure of my FP29 Power Supply (for FT1000MP MKV), he discussed in depth what might be wrong. He gave me a ball park figure for the repair cost and came out very close to his estimate. John really knows these radios inside and out. I would trust any of my equipment with him and he will get any repair business that I have in the future.
