Easy to Use and Effective Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've used SD & SDX for a couple of years now & have have settled on this after trying a number of other programmes.

Advantages:
Very intuitive & easy to configure
Supports mosts contests
Excellent for DXpeditions (SDX)
Very few key presses required when running/logging
Seemless integration with Winkey (also works without)
Runs on almost any hardware
Well supported via user group
Regularly updated
Free

Disadvantages:
It's only a logger/contest scorer - don't look for other features!

It's not a replacement for your main shack logging programme & it only has basic rig control, but as a stand-alone for contests or expeditions, it's the best I've tried.

Superb!!! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I'm using SD log in last 12 months and found that it is:
- free
- easy to setup for ANY contest
- very stable on any PC, even 10 yrs old ones!
- if there is any prblm, Paul will reply promptly!

I guess... I love this software...

using during dx-pedition Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I used the programm during my 7 weeks dx-pedition through East and West Malaysia.
The programm works great and is very easy in use.
I only miss the possibility to get the remarks with ADIF into my normal logging programm when I came home, I had to put in qsl-managers etc by hand.
But it is still a great programm

Great, and now freeware! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This is a great and easy contest logger.
The best news is that it's now freeware, so why don't you try it once, I'm sure you'll love it!

It's virtually "plug n play" -- and a fine contest Time Owned: unknown months.
I've been using SD almost since it came out. The philosophy of operation is that it should be usable by anyone with a couple of minutes instruction. It succeeds well in this aim. I have introduced techno-phobes to SD, and they have, without exception, never gone back to manual contest logging. Many of the improvements, and they have been numerous over the years, have gone into improving the user interface. And the facilities available have gradually increased, but without sacrificing the essential "use straight out of the box" idea. The combination of features, usability and price make this a top-rate product.

I have used this product siunce the beginning, it Time Owned: unknown months.
When I first started using SD I was semi computer literate. The system was easy to understand and easy therefore to use. Backup in those days was via Paul himself and like today my problems were explored amended and settled without any hint of being a nuisance! Nearly every weekday sees a brief summary of a forthcoming weekend contest and how to make the best use of SD in it. I believe the system is successful because it is so simple in operation and supported excellently.

A Certain Contest Winner ! Time Owned: unknown months.
I have used both SD and SDV for a few years and they have helped me develop my contest skills and improve my performance. Thanks to SD my IOTA entry for 1999 as 2A0BQI/P is one of the top in my section. Letting SD take care of mundane things like band changes, modes, keyer messages and all the complex multiplier business leaves you more time to look for and work the contest QSOs. Having looked at many options for my single operator set up there is nothing that comes close to SD. The support from Paul is very responsive and always positive. For a Scotsman to part with hard earned money for something he could have for free must tell you that it is worth having!

Easy to use for the first time contester Time Owned: unknown months.
Having entered my first contest 'in anger', the 1999 CQWW SSB I found I needed a simple but comprehensive PC based contest logger. After only a few minutes to familiarise myself with the main functions I was doing my 12 hours (min requirement for a scoring log) in the contest with SuperDuper. I cannot recommend this software highly enough for the first-time, as well as the more experienced contester who wants an easy to use, trouble free PC based contest logger. Paul has done a fantastic job in producing this programme. The post-contest reporting facilities are also easy to use and accurate. Paul is always quick to respond to reported 'Bugs', and requests for help. Registered users get notified of updates which appear on average every few weeks. Interfacing to your radio from, and taking the keyer output from the PC's ports is also simple and fuss free. A very comprehensive list of contests is supported as standard and Paul is always willing to offer advise on customising the software for the more specific but lesser known contests. In a word, excellent!

Easy to use, no big pc needed Time Owned: unknown months.
Easy to use, as I said. Vy easy to get updates. Real Time answer to request in case of problems.
In my case vy easy to convert contestlog to my own log, written in before christ dBaseIII. You do not need a pentium 450 MHz, it will still run on an old 386.
nothing further, only the best I ever tried.
