portable solar Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Got a pair of the 5 watt version on ebay for $70 plus $10 shipping. Very nice. Can be rolled up for convienent carring. Too bad that ICP Solar has discontinued them. As with any CIGS (or CIS) based panel, it is advised that before being used, the panel should be exposed to direct sunlight (no load) for a day or two to maximize output. Usually there is about a 10% raise in output that remains permenant

Excellent solar panel for emergency operations Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I had originally picked up another model of ICP Solar panel (the BatterySaver SE) and am kicking myself. I found the PowerFlex 20 on sale at a marine store for $250.00 ($100 off the $350.00 regular price!) and snapped it up. It made the trip with me to Mississippi during Katrina and helped keep two marine deep-cycle batteries charged. Some of the great things about this panel:

* Rolls up (comes shipped in a tube, in fact!). I keep it in an 16" long small duffel bag with it's cables.

* Can be combined with other panels -- including other model ICP Solar panels like my BatterySaver - to provide additional power. With the 20W Flex and the 18W BatterySaver I have 38W total output.

* Easy to use and connect - the accessory kit contains common cables and connectors such as alligator clips, cig lighter, etc.

* Water/Weatherproof

I highly reccommend these panels and their other products. I have had good luck with the iSun, BatterySaver, and PowerFlex lines.
