I recently Ordered 2 ARRL league appointment badges from "The Sign Man". Ordering online was a breeze. Coupled with the personal service, excellent communication, fast delivery time and most of all - perfect product, this is more of a 5+ rating. If this doesn't reflect a top notch operation, nothing does.

I read lots of reviews here on eham.net, went to lots of website for QSL's, signs, mugs, general callsign paraphenalia.. I took a shot with Rick the Sign Man of Baton Rouge, he was reviewed very positively here, he had a nice selection, and he took Paypal!

I couldn't be happier, the desksign was FIRST class, the mug was the best quality printing job on a mug I've seen, and I have a kitchen FULL of well over 100 souvenir mugs! And same with the "instastamp".

Best of all at this quality, the order was printed and I received it in perfect shape in barely two weeks. That's astounding for custom work!

I'll be heading over to Rick now for MORE STUFF!

Based on eHam reviews, I ordered a name badge with my call sign from SignMan and had it a week later. Very nice product, far better than the junk badge I got at a local hamfest.

Really nice badges! Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I got my first badge from Rick at the Raleigh hamfest last year, and it has stood up to the punishment of falling off my desk and working its way to the bottom of my attache. Barely a scratch on it, and none visible. I recently ordered a new ARRL badge from him via his website, and it arrived much sooner than I would have anticipated given that I placed the order right before Christmas. It, too, is a nice badge, and has a good construction to it. Feels like it could take a beating. Good price, too.

By the way, consider going with the magnetic backing. Though the basic "safety pin" back is of good quality, the magnetic holder is of superb quality, and will easily stay put. It's like a $2 option, but well worth it, in my opinion.

Bought a callsign badge at the Grayslake, IL hamfest -- and I love it. The huge variety of badge designs clearly puts NV5A at the head of the pack. Other call sign badge makers use hard to read fonts or are just plain run-of-the-mill badges. My badge is great... it seems solid, was made in 20 minutes, and isn't chipping or scratched up -- even after i accidentally left it in my coat pocket for a week!

You won't be dissapointed... unless YOU made a bad design choice. :)

I ordered a self-inking rubber stamp and it was made "same day" at a hamfest. I've used it several months and it works correctly every time.
