Nice HT Time Owned: N.A.
I can't really complain about mine, since I got them for free. It sure is a nice HT, for the price, even used. Field programming is impossible without a manual. Computer programming is a snap. The Yaesu HT programming cable from RT systems works for it. It can take a beating and keep on working. I have ones around that still work fine but have chunks of plastic misssing. The back is die cast aluminum. The front of it is heavy duty plastic. I only have 1 or 2 out of my 8 with chunks of plasitc missing, and even that is tiny little chunks. And the rest of the 8 are very beat up. On some, all the black paint is worn off the back of the radio, but the rest of it looks fine. Definately a cheap alternative to a Motorola. I have gotten reports on somewhat tinny TX audio, but other than that it is fine.
