Quality product! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
What more can be said? Performs very well (way outperforms a rubber ducky or even a 'gain' antenna mounted on the Icom handheld).

I've just ordered a second one, with SMA fitting for my IC 91AD.

Rolls up tight for carrying. I added a small suction cup for hotel windows.

This is a well made product that should serve you well for years to come.

Awesome Antenna Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is a great product, very well made. It is very small and light and I cannot wait to use it on the trail. I will be using this often. Ordering was very easy, and delivery was fast.

Great Antenna! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Excellent workmanship. Quality all the way through. Works great out in the field, easy to setup and get going. I've been amazed at the performance - far exceeded my expectations.

Magnificent Antenna!!! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
An extremely well built antenna using quality materials that most importantly works extremely well and will handle 50 watts.

I too own several of them and have them in my emcomm go kit and in the glove box of my cars. I can honestly say that I recommend it for RACES or ARES use where more than a rubber duck (even a gain type one) is needed or you need something besides a 1/4 mag mount for a fixed station setup in the field or even at home.

Excellent product, esp for application Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Every once in a while you come across something manufactured by someone who obviously cares about their work and is proud of it.

That's this antenna. It's constructed of excellent materials, is well thought out and visibly the product of extensive field testing and experience, and is better than claimed.

Yeah, you can build one yourself, and that's a great thing to do. However, if your time is short and you have what may be a critical need for a rugged, high performance, lightweight antenna ready to go, look no further.

The small coax is short enough to where loss is not a factor at 2 meters. With an accessory adapter to PL-259, you can couple the attached BNC to a mobile radio, or likewise to an SMA portable.

Additional lengths of coax can be used as needed, and not used where not needed. A few pieces of extra coax, a roll of tape, ball of twine, this antenna all in a Rubbermaid container should live in the trunks and Go Kits of anyone who may be involved in emergency or portable communications on 2 meters.

The included instructions are very good, and the construction even to untrained eyes considers many real world factors.

I don't regret the purchase of this one and will have several stashes in several places in each vehicle since they're so small and inexpensive.

Highly recommended.
