Best I have heard - Excellent Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Fellow Hams,
50mm drivers in a very lightweight headset that fits over the ears but does not hang on them.
After hours you barely know they are there. The sound from your MP3's as well as from your rig makes this model Sony a very high end keeper.
5-30,000Hz..... good gosh, and efficient as well.
Pluged into my large stereo CD player with no amp, just straight and the volume was up there. No inefficient mismatch on these units. Plenty of bass, mid-range and treble. These will spoil you and are a step up from the ones that push against your ear....and have smaller drivers. They are large to the eye but they have to be with a 50mm magnet and to surround your ears without touching them.
Extremely comfortable and comes with an extra extention cable as well. Don't be cheap when it comes to the audio. Try them, you can always take them back. I actually get excited in anticipation of using them to listen to my MP3's or off the FT-100-D. If noise off your radio from transformers and QRN is unbearable check out my review on the MFJ-1025.It will take a 40 over noise level down to zero!
