Excellent			Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Recently had to replace the balun due due to the skyhook having a failure, and the new balun has got the antenna back up & working, just like new. This has been working well for several years, without missing a single beat. Note: the SWC-100 series comes in several configurations covering both power levels & band(s). This review is for the barefoot version.

Comparing to OCF or G5rv good swr on most hf bands suitable for outback communications and commercial users. However for amateur use you can build or buy much better antennas for a lot less dollars. OCF G5RV. This antenna is deaf and a non performer. Chris ---------------------- Earlier 5-star review posted by VK2LOB on 2008-06-25 I purchased this one 2 years ago and have had great results with contacts all over the world. SWR is great on all bands around 1.4. On 15m its about 1.8 I have been able to tune it on 160m and 6m with the inbuilt tuner in my Icom pro3. I find that the back ground noise is quite. I purchased a second one for when we go portable and also as a spare. From 3.5 to 29.7 I never use the tuner. On 6m I have been able to tune it however a friend has the same antenna and has had no luck on 6m. Its great

Best antenna i have ever used ,it covers all HF frequencies with no ATU the highest SWR is on 15mgs and then it comes in at 1.8 to one. I can highly recommend doug vk3vba
