Consistent Quality Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've used cascaded 250 Hz and 125 Hz Inrad CW filters in a Kenwood TS-850S, and these provided me with the selectivity I needed to chase lowband DX in a fairly high-noise urban environment. Recently, I purchased a used Omni VI from Ten Tec and loaded it with Inrad filters. I'm using the 400 Hz filter with 600 Hz cw offset in the 9MHz IF narrow position, and have my choice of 400 Hz and 250 Hz in the 6.3 MHz IF. They work very well!

Inrad provides unbelievably quick delivery of filters that are, in some cases, simply unavailable elsewhere. I also appreciate that they provide response curves for their filters on their website-- I wish that the radio manufacturers would provide us with comparable information.

Excellent product and service Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I ordered an InRad 400HZ IF filter for my IC718 and it was shipped to a hotel where my brother could collect it - it arrived very promptly indeed and was superbly packed. Fitting was extremely straightforward and it works very well too.

My only criticism is that these filters are not available in UK at a reasonable price - the UK cost is more than double the US price (which is more of a criticism of UK outlets than of InRad - retail giants call UK 'treasure island' for good reason), hence shipping to my brother. However, this is an excellent product from a company that has excellent service and I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Good service Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've ordered Inrad filters for various Ten-Tec transceivers I've got and they always perform perfectly. Just got one for the Orion and now have a roofing filter with 600 Hz bandwidth -- which increases the Orion receiver's already stunning performance. First rate products from a first rate organization.

73!

Excellent Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I decided to order these filters instead of the yaesu filters because of the ratings here. I am not disappointed. They really are excellent filters. The quality is supurb.

After installing the filters, I noticed a real improvement in receiver performance.

The only problem I experienced was a mixup while ordering. They got confused over an email corespodence, but called me on the telephone using their dime to clarify. I consider this to be very good customer service!

If I were to ever buy another rig, I would buy their filter(s) again!

The big difference!!! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've purchased a number of inrad IF filters, for Kenwood and Yaesu rigs and they have significantly improved the performance of each rig.

Up to now, I've used the 2.1KHz, 1.8KHz and 400Hz filters mainly for 8 or 9 MHz IF's but also for the 455KHz IF.

The 400 is particularly good for CW and RTTY, while the 2.1 is a great compromise between sharp selectivity and fidelity. I've found the 1.8 good for contests, but a pair of 1.8's cascaded makes copy for me a little more difficult.

My last order involved some complicated shipping to get the filters to me at a hotel, before travelling, and the service was excellent, and filters arrived on time!!!

For serious competition grade DXing and contests, there's nothing better.

Superb Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Top quality components from two of the nicest people in business. I loaded up my FT-1000MP MK V and Orion with filters and what an amazing difference.

Great Quality! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is my first experience utilizing Inrad filters. I have heard a lot about them over the years, and finally decided to put some into my TS-950SDX transceiver. The Inrad filters have nice cutoff/shape. I don't experience the "ringing" sound with a very narrow CW selection as with some other filters. I definetley recommend them.

More then excellent! Time Owned: more than 12 months.

In the FT-1000D I use the following Inrad filter configuration:
2800 - 2800 Hz
2100 - 2100
500 - 400
250 - 250
In the Sub Rx I mounted the 2800 Hz filter instead of the 2400 Hz Murata ceramic filter.

In the FT-1000MP Mark V:
2800 - 2800 Hz
2100 - 2100
1000 - 1000
400 - 400

The Inrad filters are of excellent quality. They have outstanding selectivity, shape factor and sound!

The service of George and Georgia is excellent. They have very fast delivery, well packed and are very very kind!

Every 1st of January they have an attractive offer.

I can recommend Inrad filter to everybody. You would not regret it.

There are no better filters then Inrad filters!!

Outstanding products, value, and customer service Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have all optional filter slots in my FT1000MP filled with INRAD filters (6 total). Initially, I ordered several additional bandwidths so I could compare among them and select the ones I liked the best knowing I could return the extras for a refund. George, INRAD's proprietor, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process.

INRAD also has developed and sells a number of very worthwhile rig mods. I have installed their key click mod and it works very well in reducing the CW transmit bandwidth.

Overall excellent products and excellent customer service.

International Radio (Inrad) is a great source of after market filters. I recently installed a new International Radio (Inrad) #109 2.4 kHz bandpass filter in my ICOM R-70 for $44 less than the ICOM FL-44A would have cost me new at R&L Electronics. The pins on the #109 fit perfectly into the holes for the FL-44A. If you have questions, the Irad people are very helpful on the telephone. I am amused when I see bidders on ebay bid more on used filters than Irad's new prices. Moreover, Inrad will take returns/exchanges for up to 30 days, provided what you return can be re-sold. Inrad also has very interesting literature collections for sale on some older radios (e.g., Kenwood TS-940S/AT).
