Happy since 1992 Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Got my Icom IC-728 HF rig from INRAD with couple of 2.1Khz filtres preinstalled and one 400Hz CW
at 9Mhz IF only...Very impressive mod! Worked my DXCC and IOTA-100. Probably the 400Hz CW is an overkill for i can ajust to the same CW perfomance by Passband Tuning Two SSB filters....But for those rigs that do not have PBT -400Hz is a MUST ! Fred- VE2SEI did the same INRAD mod to his IC-735 and the difference is big.

CW filters work Fine! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I ordered and installed the InRad 400 Hz IF filter into my new FT-920. I use it for PSK31 and other sound card digi modes. On the waterfall spectrum display of my program, this filter shows a 500 Hz band width and the skirts are very sharp after that. They advertize 6 dB down at 400Hz; so I am guessing that what I see on the display is the proper BW for the audio output thru the receiver to the FFT display program.

Sharpen up the best rigs! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I installed the 1.8 first IF filter and the IF mod for the Ft1000MP. These are very worthwhile additions to a great rig. The secret menu (fast/ent and pwr-on) allows you to modify the IF gain. INRAD suggests that you knock the gain down to control hiss after the IF mod. Many who complain of hiss with the FT1000MP could use this to adjust the gain for differing band conditions. I routinely activate this menu on start-up (the manual does not mention it) and it makes a difference.

INRAD has filters and mods for a variety of rigs and their prices are always better than the manufacturer. They have a very strong reputation and the turnaround on an order is fast (under 10 days to Canada. Highly recommended.
