Non standard size only Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Be advised they only make cards in a 4 x 6 size, which is larger than the standard 3.5 by 5.5.

You MUST have your design correct before you order!!

Great Full Color QSL Cards Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Overnight Printers provides a truly great full color QSL at great prices with fast service.
Since they actually print custom Postcards it really is totally up to the individual to design every aspect of the card. If you have the computer and graphic skills and you want a unique QSL card these folks are great. The online interface is fairly user friendly. You can preview exactly what the finished card will look like. You even have a short period of time to place the order on hold and make last minute changes. The company offers some assitance with format conversion to a format that they will accept on line. The submission formats are fairly comprehensive so even if you don't have a photo editing or graphics program you might be able to produce some very nice cards.
4x6 QSL (postcard) double sided Full color cards cost:
100 cards $39.95
250 cards $79.95
500 cards $89.95
I designed and ordered 500 cards, got free shipping and they were delivered in 3 working days.

Good for short runs Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Overnight Prints is NOT a QSL card printer. Instead, they specialize in fast turnaround of standard-format print jobs for businesses. Fortunately for hams, a postcard is one of their standard formats.

Use this service only if you have graphic design experience or have a friend or family member who does. A properly-calibrated computer monitor is also an asset, as the colours and saturation of your prints may not match otherwise.

Overnight Prints is completely automated. Download their template files and read all instructions closely - they will not be responsible for screw-ups on your part.

I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for my first full-colour QSL card. The resulting cards actually were printed the next business day. Shipping took a little longer, but most continental US addresses should receive the cards in about a week. Unfortunately, Overnight Prints insists on using UPS for shipping. This is a real pain in rural Canada and I suspect it might not work for overseas customers.

I don't QSL often - probably fewer than 100 cards per year - Overnight Prints will print that few cards for a very modest cost. I can vary my design to reflect other interests in my life and I won't get sick of seeing the same card for the next 5-10 years. As a person who does computer graphics as part of my job, it's also nice to have complete artistic control over the design process for my own QSL card.
