Very Complete Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I decided to clean up my old keys and bugs that I have accumulated over the years, but didn't want to do more damage in that process. After working in the aircraft industry for over 40 years, I am very aware of the fact that you can do a lot of damage to materials if you use the wrong products on them. W. R. Smith, being a long time clock maker, is very aware of the same thing. This book will keep you from adding to the damage that age has done to your keys and bugs. If you are serious about protecting these old instruments, this is a must-read!

Great Book for Vibroplex Enthusiasts Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
After seeing his workmanship online, I had to purchase the book.
Layout is excellent.
Covers maintenance and cleaning, to manufacuring missing pieces of keys.
This book fills the void regarding Vibroplex restoration.
If you have an interest in the restoration of older Vibroplex keys, or just appreciate fine workmanship, add this book to your library.
