One of the most useful items in my station Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I bought two LP-100A digital vector meters 20 years ago and I love them to death. The alarm has saved my amps several times from my boneheaded errors and I've had no problems whatsoever from the meters over the years. I recently damaged the power plug through my own rough handling. Larry (N8LP) gave me not only a new plug, but also the full power cable 20 years after the original sale. Incredible after-sales support and generosity!

The best Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have LP-100A for more than 8 years already. To me this is the best power meter on the market. I always know what is my PEP output power. It is instant/accurate and easy to read. With many other power meters people have tendency to overdrive amplifiers thinking that power is lower than actually is.
Now, my power supply went bad and for some reason output voltage went up to around 26V.
I had to send my LP-100 for repair to Telepost.
Week later I have received my unit repaired and again working fb. Incredible service at no cost. Unbelievable.
LP-100 is very reliable but it should be powered by 13.8V DC not 26V. My fault. Unfortunately my IC-7300
was destroyed.
Larry, thank you for such a great customer support.

Excellent Digiatl Vector Wattmeter Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have my LP-100A about 4 years now at time of writing and am really Impressed with the quality and its features with programmable audible alarm settings for safety and defaults via its menu.

I completed a station upgrade in the past to use an ACOM 1200s Amp and ACOM 04AT Tuner and I had my LP-100A out of line for a few months as I was initially told it would not be compatible.

I wrote to Larry for advice regarding using my LP-100A with my ACOM System and Larry sent details of how to upgrade the LPC1 coupler to go inline again by adding a 4700 pF / 500V ceramic capacitor so that I could use the LP-100A again with my ACOM system at my station.

Once the LP-100A had the additional component added I have had the LP-100A back in service and am really impressed with its quality and a excellent real life visual indicator for my station.

This is another one of those rare future proof type of key station products that serves its purpose with excellent customer service from Larry.

Precision. Fast. Excellent Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I cannot add much more to the reviews already posted.

Just received my LP100A and it was very easy to hook up. Looks great and it was easy to get used to instead of looking at a needle bouncing around.

My previous meter was an Ameritron AWM-30. While a great meter, the LP100A is far superior.

The precision of the meter is excellent. Having numbers in front of you is the way to go. Much better to see how the amp or transceiver is working as the numbers tell the story.

Not only does it serve as a SWR / Power meter, it also can do vector readings and also antenna plotting. A nice touch is the connection to a computer to use the free program to watch the meter on the computer screen.

Fast shipping for sure. I put my order in on Saturday afternoon and had it by Monday.

All I can say is that if you had any doubts about spending almost 500 dollars for a meter, put that aside and get this. You will not regret it.

Update 8/6/22....I went off radio and sold all my gear till things settled down in my life. Recently got back into radio and the one big regret I had was selling my Telepost LP100A. I was using a mechanical SWR/power meter and while it worked well, it was no LP100A.
After giving it some thought, decided to get another LP100A. Well worth the money. If you have any doubts about spending so much for an SWR/Watt meter, put that aside. Spend the money and you will never regret it. Best meter made PERIOD. Thanks Larry for all your advice and quick turn around. Due to the world wide parts supply situation, there is a 1 month wait.
In case you have not noticed, I love my LP100A.

The Rolls-Royce of SWR meters Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I recently purchased the LP-100A. Just see the all 5 star comments. It is expensive, yes, but if you want to know realtime how your antenna is doing, what is your exact output, this is the best. This seems to be the Rolls Royce of SWR-Wattmeters. Clean design, easy to operate, very (I mean VERY) accurate and fast.

Excellent Meter and great customer service Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This meter is well worth the cost and is invaluable if your running an amplifier. The build quality is the best and it provides a lot of information on your station operating efficiency. Larry takes the time to quickly answer your inquiries. No hesitation here to recommend Telepost products!

Really good meter Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I'm an Elecraft guy and I have had two Elecraft W2 meters. The W2 is an excellent meter but both of mine were taken out by lightning or power surges. I had always been interested in an LP-100 because I have a good friend who loves his. Because of price increases the W2 was actually a bit more expensive so I went with the LP-100A and what a great choice it was! Great, very accurate meter with a very nice display. I highly recommend the LP-100A!

Well worth the money! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have owned many wattmeters over the years including a Bird. My LP-100A is by far the best wattmeter that I own, it is simply better and easier to use. Yes, it is a little pricey compared to other meters but is well worth it. Easy to use in order to keep and eye out for how your shack is doing. Makes using my AL811 a piece of cake. Has a nice and easy to read display that gives you the info that you need. Watts on the upper line and SWR on the lower line gives you guick performance info on your shack with just a glance at the unit. Great help setting a manual tuner also, just watch the SWR on the LP-100A. We ham's spend thousands of dollars on radios and antennas but tend to buy cheap on wattmeters. This meter is one you won't regret buying!

No compromise Watt Meter Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
You'd think after almost 55 years of ham radio, I would have used good sense and gotten more gear that was as good as this LP-100A, but I always compromised and settled for radio equipment that "did the job" rather than set the standard. Now, reaching 70 years of age, I decided that I should for once get something that was better than anything else and purchase this unit, and I'm so happy I did. The performance and features of the LP-100A is so good that at last I can trust what it says rather than just know that it was ok. Yes, it's a lot of money for a wattmeter (or anything else) but you sure get what you pay for with all the advanced features and great accuracy. There's not anything I can add to my review that others haven't already said but I am totally happy and satisfied with this desktop instrument, and I'm proud that I now own one of the best watt meters that money can buy.
