Just dial it in Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
0-20V @ 2A, 20-40V @ 1A.

This is a precision type power supply, you punch in the voltage you want on the series of buttons on the front, and watch the analog needle go RIGHT there. Adjustable down to a 100th of a volt, no kidding! Also current limited, with a counter/vernier knob for that.

Reading some of the QRP rig reviews made me think of this - you see, that current limiting can be good for testing stuff, in case you have a short in your prototype circuit, the current limiting will keep you from burning it up.

This is a great PS for testing a lot of rigs on recieve, for basic functionality. Even 100W rigs generally need less than 2A on recieve. This is also great for all kinds of bench experimentation, and it doesn't have a noisy fan to annoy you. They can be found for $100 or a little above that on Ebay routinely. They're a terriffic deal because of the sheer quality, ease/fun of use, clean-ness of power (they're linear not switching) and small bench footprint.
