Repair of FT101e Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I sent FT101e to Carol for repair.Rig had been setting on shelf for a long time.Rig was aligned and cleaned and tubes tested which were still good.Carol called me and said some 11 meter crystals were in rig and I had it put back original.Rig is working great and I'm very satisfied. If you want 1st class service at a fair price call Carol and you won't be disappointed.

Yaesu-YO-100 Scope Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This is a company to do business with! Carol was very patient in answering my questions and fixed my old YO-100scope to work like new. Prices are very reasonable! I was ill and not able to release the radio right away and they were very patient. Even wrote me a note after they sent the radio back asking about my health.
These are first class guys and they will tell you if they can or can not fix it.
A pleasure to do business with!

signal corps radio. Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I collect and use w w 2 signal corps radios. I took a BC-669-D
transmitter/receiver to carol at certified electronics along with the repair manuals and PE-110-D power supply to have the mods that were done to the set reversed and the rig put back into military configuration.
They did just a great job at restoring the radio set which by the way is a SCR-543-D.
I will tell you that their is no other person that I have found that will even take a crack at fixing a old military set but they did and the radio set works like it just left the factory in 1944.
so if you have a old signal corps radio receiver or transmitter and it need so work take it to them they will do a great job and they let you know the progress of the work that is being done.
I will be using their services again as I am very happy with their work. Thanks carol & josh.

GREAT GREAT GREAT Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Carol is so helpful and so honest that you absolutely cannot go wrong. My Yaesu QTR-24 clock was a gift from my XYL about 30 years ago. It got to the point where it just would not keep time. It meant so much to me that I kept it on the shelf above the rigs, but the fact that it didn't run really bugged me. Carol was busy when first contacted, but I was willing to wait to have the job done right. And Carol is the ONLY one that I would trust to work on my treasured clock. I am convinced that there is nothing that Carol does not know about vintage Yaesu-- all this and reasonable and honest. Heartily recommended....

Very good Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Well I didn't care that he wouldn't except my back up finals. I had a pair of green band toshiba's. When I told Carol I would send them he said he didn't except outside tubes. Which led to a conversion to american tubes and a slight mod. that cost 200 bucks with new Sylvania tubes. If I send him my back up tubes it would have saved all that. Other than that the rig seems to be fine but I have not made many contacts with it as of yet.

The best of the best Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Sent up an FT101B (Ebay 100% working...hi) to Carol for repair. This was the second FT101 that I sent to them for repair. As usual, the radio is back in operation again. Quick turn around and always a fair price. If you have older Yaesu equipment, there is NO OTHER place to send your equipment. Send it to Certified Electronics. PERIOD!!!!!! Thanks again Carol for bringing back to life an ole war horse. My first contact with the repaired FT101B yesterday on 20M CW was PIETRO BEGALI....I2RTF..Italy.

I sent off my FT101E to Carol and Josh for a general checkup and to make sure that everything was o.k. Our wonderful UPS service apparently dropped the box on the way there. After several emails from Carol, They got the rig back in 100% operational and cosmetic condition. I received it back today and opened the box to get the radio back in line and can't find a sign of any damage!! If you have an older Yaesu rig, don't send it anywhere except to Certified Electronics. Service and communication is AA+. Kudos and thanks Carol.

Super Service Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
If you your Yaesu rig needs service there is only one place to go-Central Electronics. Expert, prompt, courteous service politely rendered (in an age where these adjectives are rare). My FT101-E is as good as new and I will be sending my FT-101-ZD MK11 for tune up.

CERTIFIED ELECTRONICS IS THE BEST Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Got a FT101ZD Mk III from a Ham fest, The seller says the rig was in 100% Working order...Well, Sort of it turned out. The rig would only tune to about 60 watts on 10m. I decided to get new tubes, But was a little skiddish after they immediately blew a fuse! Called Carol, at Certified Electronics because of a suggestion from a fellow Ham and they invited me to bring the Rig in for a look, I am close by the shop. They BOTH worked like crazy, only to determine the tubes were CRAPOLA, Carol installed 2 of her stock and after a few adjustments , the radio was kicking butt and taking names. She was typing up the bill, and in spite of them putting almost 2 hours into the rig, fixing a few known bugs to keep them from popping up- Using her own stock, She explained each charge, exactly what was done and why. EVERY PENNY SPENT WAS WELL WORTH IT! They are pro!, No- they are Better than that, they are Beyond expectations, Both technically and service wise.Carol and Josh knew just what to do with each glitch they uncovered. Although not asked, they went through each band and made 100% sure that the utmost of care and performance would be gained by the visit to them. If you take your Vintage Equipment anywhere else? You gotta be NUTS! top notch Service, Top notch troubleshooting, Top notch knowledge, But most of all, they CARE so much about what it will cost the Customers, She did all she could to keep the repair costs reasonable, the rig is working SO MUCH BETTER, I was happy with it before- Now it works like it just came from the Showcase! Thank you Certified Electronics- You have the Midas touch for sure! My rig is now 24k GOLD CLASS!

Another rescue! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I rolled the dice and lost on eBay. I won an older Yaesu FC-901 antenna tuner. It was alright mechanically but because the meters didn't work it wasn't very useful. What to do? Am I stuck? Not when Certified Electronics is alive. Carol and the group said "no problem" and indeed it wasn't. They found the problem in a flash, fixed it (someone had overdriven it with too much power) and returned to me at a very reasonable price. The hardest part was finding a suitable mailing container for the FC-901. I like "fix-it" projects but I really wanted this one done in my lifetime, if you know what I mean. Hat's off the Fox Tango group: Carol and her technical gurus.

Certified Electronics is just simply the best techs in Ga. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I brought my Collins 32v2 to Carol with some real problems not transmitting and we all know no one wants to fix the old vintage gear, So Carol took it in and found that it did not have high voltage Carol spent several hour figuring out how to repair the K-301 relay with a mouser relay because you can not find a Collins relay anywhere. She took all the wires which by the way are all white wires not color coated and made the mouser relay work. Carol is the real deal , Thank you Carol
