Works fine at 100 watts Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Appears to be well made. It's a very convenient 38 ft. long. SWR acceptable on all 4 bands at 100 watts on CW. Works well and many contacts made at 100 watts on CW. Never used it on SSB.

At higher power levels the balun and/or traps seem to overheat and change values when operated off resonance resulting in increasingly high SWR.

Great antenna ! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I own a dual band 80/40m full size high power version. Had to cut it a bit on both bands and Swr is great now in the section I like to work. Well built quality !

Very Happy With This Antenna Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I bought the 40-80 meter shortened version for tri state communication. It comes set up for the digital range. I ended up with a 65" foldback (from the insulator) to bring it into the phone portion of the band. Hope that saves you a little time. Of course, your milage will vary depending on the set up, but it should get you in the ballpark. The antenna is set up in an inverted "V" at 25' It is plenty broad banded. 7.125 Mhz @ 1.1 to 1, 7.225 Mhz @ 1.3 to 1, 7300 Mhz @ 1.5 to 1.---- 3.7 Mhz @ 2.0 to 1, 3.8 Mhz @ 1.4 to 1, 3.9 Mhz @ 1.1 to 1 and 4.0 Mhz @ 1.5 to 1. The wire does not look as tough as some other wire on other antennas. Good quality, but I am waiting to see how long the wire holds up. Overall it works great. I'd buy it again. It's a dipole...duhh.

reliability and performance Time Owned: more than 12 months.
After three years of experiments with various home-built mono-band antennas, I installed a short Kelement 10/15/20/40m trap dipole in inverted V configuration on the roof of my city appartment (I use the 400W version, a 2kW version is also available). After almost 7 years of loyal service, a review is in order.

As can be expected, a trap dipole by definition is narrower in band-width than a full size dipole. After initial setup, the SWR was centered in the voice band portion of the respective bands, and my Kenwood TS-450 and TS-930 (both of which have good auto-tuners, the 450 even has an excellent one) were able to adjust SWR to cover the entire bands.

In 2014 the focus of my operation shifted to CW, and I made a minor adjustment to center SWR in the CW section of each band. My Kenwood radios are still able to cover the entire bands, my Yaesu FT-950 however, which has a more limited tuner, has issues to go above 7100 on 40m, and of course to cover the upper portion of 10m. I expected this and see it as a quality indicator of the antenna - the traps are of high quality with little loss.

The balun is protected by a transparent plastic cylinder, and I was worried that it might not last long, considering that it is exposed to heavy sunlight. However, the entire antenna fared well and is still in excellent condition. The plastic is of very high quality and shows no sign of deterioration, nor do the traps. The plastic covering the antenna wires turned dark over time, but it turns out that most of the color change is due to dirt (pollution) and can be cleaned. I am very happy with the antenna, and recently bought the 12/17/30m WARC version, which will be installed this summer. I should add that while the antenna itself stood the test of time, the rope used to fix the antenna to the roof had to be replaced a number of times. Last year I put up a high quality nylon rope and hope it will last longer. Clearly this antenna deserves to be installed with robust rope.

Superb. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have short 20,15,10 trapped dipole set up in an inverted V.I have only used it with my FT817nd running just 5 watts and I am more than impressed with its performance. Its light yet robust, you can hardly notice it so it would make an excellent stealth antenna. Its available from WIMO a German company who are brilliant to deal with.I highly recommend it.

good dipole Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Yep i have 80/40/30 kelemen dipole and i confirm, on 80 bandwith is very short, match is necessery but run nice both. Very good antenna on 30, some dx from France in jt65.

Very Good Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I am very happy with this 3 Band Kelemen Dipole for 20/15/10. Good construction and light. I would consider it also as a stealth antenna.

Misconstruction Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I had a 2KW Version for 80 and 40m Band, back then Mr. Kelemen took 160 Euro for it (250 US Dollar).

The SWR was very high, so I called Mr. Kelemen and asked what to do about it, he said to cut the Ends of the Dipol, so I did but the SWR was still very high. After several times calling Mr. Kelemen and he telling every Time to cut the Ends of the Dipol, the Dipol was abnormaly short, the SWR lower on a very narrow Frequency Range but still the SWR was HIGH. Other Kelemen Antennas maybe work well but obviously there was an Error when Building the Kelemn Antenna I got. I was glad Mr. Kelemen took his Antenna back, then I bought a made in Italy Antenna for halfthe Price and it served me without any Problems.

best antennas Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I have 2 Dipols: 160/80/40 2kW and 80/15/10 400W. Both working very good. Very good Quality. The wight is poor. Also good for carbon-towers. Kelemen sell his production to WIMO, a big dealer in the south part of Germany.
