Shred Bin Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I’ll have to admit this was a total waste of my money; it looks like a piece of junk (of course, my standards are exceptionally high). The paper is not heavy weight paper, it should have been printed on card stock, and to top it off they just slapped the ARRL president’s electronic signature on the bottom which is very grainy looking. I’m debating whether or not to just throw it in the shred bin. It looks weird hanging on the wall with all of my professional degrees and awards.

I’d rather hang the actual license which looks only a tad bit better. If the FCC would print licenses the way they used to back in the 60s and 70s we wouldn’t have this problem. I would pay $50 for a nice FCC license like they used to issue. Here is what they used to look like: http://rogerwendell.com/images/extraclasslicense/extraclasslicense_certificate.jpg

Great certificats Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I got mine right after I upgraded to Extra in October of 1983. It's nice documentation of a noteworthy achievement.

When mine was issued they were in blue ink on a white background and formatted and patterned after the First Class Radiotelephone Operators License.

Makes a nice display on the shack wall.

Nicely done Time Owned: more than 12 months.
A very nice design. Also helpful as much as was possible with the needed research.

Then I discovered AE7Q and N4MC and found it with even more precison!

And in this case the repeated design changes won't matter...
