BAD QUALITY TRAP Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I use this antenna TE-33 some time ago even I add in 40M Attachment. But the Trap Quality is Crap..
its made out of plastic, the wire inside is soft the old original TET is made out of nylon better quality but new TET very lossy trap. and 40M attachment can not handle 400Watt its burn out very easily. better of get your self HEX BEAM.
and hex give you 6 band. better power 1200PEP
no worries. and so cheap to buy hex beam and its full size beam hi hi. can't go wrong with HEX BEAM.

Superb quality and performance. Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I have what is now a TE 43 by Tet-Emtron. As I type Mark is making up a third director and boom extension, to make it into a TE53 I guess. I had been struggling along with another brand of tri-band yagi for some time, without a lot of success. I dropped the old yagi and put up my Tet-Emtron beam and that very afternoon I was getting 5/9 +++ from all over Europe and the Middle East. It was as though I'd just turned off the attenuator and swung my antenna round onto the stations. The difference was astounding. Can't recommend it highly enough. They're also great people to deal with. I've been a fully licensed Ham for almost 45 years and this is the best yagi beam I've tried. Furthermore, the elements sit almost flat and stay perfectly aligned...

Stromg exelent antenna Time Owned: more than 12 months.
You are right John (VK6GG )
After long period of time on the air says 6 years, i have to move my TET antenna to my new house. and i have to uninstall the antenna... Nothing is broken.. all are in a good condition. and install again without any new part.only some rubber glue for the Coax Balun. there is some pictures you can see when TET EMTRON TE33 TRIBAND YAGI with double firing i got them down. it is really strong material.very hard but very light in wight. http://tono-radioseller.blogspot.com/2009/02/tet-ele-3-band-hf-antenna-15m-tower.html

Great Antenna Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
In addition to my last review.

The hardware is of top quality aluminium and stainless steel. In the 30 years I have been involved in radios, I have never seen a more solid constructed / designed antenna, it's built like a brick out house, but weighs no more than any other three element yagi.
The element to boom and boom to mast mounting brackets are exceptional, they ensure the elements will never move, twist or go out of alignment. The same designed brackets are used for the boom to mast mounting, just on a bigger
scale.
I loved the way it all went together and mounted on the mast, "SQUARE AND TRUE", no fiddling to square up elements to boom or boom to mast, it just simply, all lined up.

I have no doubt at all that this antenna couldn't stand up to 160kph plus winds, and what helped my investment was the youtube video. (Ref: Todd ZL2SP): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1w99VJUrOtM
The old saying: "a picture is worth a thousand words"

To anyone considering purchasing a yagi,
"You won't regret the investment of a TET-EMTRON"

5 star customer service Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I decided to upgrade to a 4 element version. After a call to Mark who is the owner of the company, he made up an extra director including a boom extension. Great workmanship, and better still he personally delivered it to my house and even put it up for me! Excellent customer service and cant speak highly enough of the service i received. So far my findings are that the antenna is more directional (thus better fwd gain) & wider bandwidth. Mark is a very good guy to deal with and goes out of his way to help out.Thoroughly Reccomended! his website is www.tet-emtron.com

good preformer Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
i got this antenna because it was smaller and the brackets that hold the elements to the boom need to be strong. we get some high winds here and i'm very happy with the construction of the antenna. i would rather not have the capacitor rods, however the antenna would be longer then. the swr is low at the start of the bands and quickly climbs to the point that i use my tuner. that being said i have already worked the world with this antenna with good solid signal reports. i'm very glad that i got rid of my TH3JNR Hygain. It certainly stands up in the wild weather that we have.
