Made in 1974, when time seemed to pass alot slower..Good days! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
There truly is something about analog clocks that is timeless........This ham clock shows 24 hour world map with each countries' Call prefix...The world map with call prefixes and minute scale were printed on base as the dial, also shown is GMT at center top. And the 24 hour disc is transparent with day and night, the silver minute hand with orange tip is 60 minutes per cycle. the second is an orange plane on another transparent disk. It is a fully mechanical clock with D type battery motor to replace the main spring. The motor is designed to wind the mainspring spring every eight minutes. It was manufactured in 1974 by Nit Toh (Neat-O ?)Clock Co. Japan, Model No. Kenwood HC-2

HC-2 model Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I own this Kenwood HC-2 hamclock in my shack for many years. It's a pitty that Kenwood hasn't made any hamclock anymore.
Maybe it's a good idea to adopt this model again in the Kenwood catalog (Newer DIGITAL version perhaps)
