Works a treat Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I ordered the SC-1 kit with reed relay from Dinesh at Fox Delta, delivery from India to the UK was pretty swift.
I have also found Dinesh to be most helpful via email to any questions raised.
Now to the kit:
Open the parcel and your confronted with a super pre drilled PCB, 4N33 allready soldered to it.
Topside is marked with the schematic numbers to correspond with all components that are labelled accordingly in individual plastic bags, even new comers to the hobby can easily put this kit together in a short time.
So, a few evenings with the soldering iron and the SC kit was up and running on HF and VHF Data Modes.
I have mounted mine inside a small project box and made my own modifications to suit my needs.
RV1 and RV2 have been replaced with panel mounting potentiometers to enable on air fine tuning of audio in/out.
The front DIN socket I did away with in favour of an 8 pin rear panel mounted socket to suit my Icom SM-20 and Heil Microphones, so all cable connections are now at the back of the unit.
Also, I have added an extra socket and a 4 pole changeover toggle switch, this toggles the PTT - Audio In & Audio Out, so that HF (Icom 756 Pro 3) or VHF/UHF (Yaesu FT 8100) radio can be selected.
The spare fourth contacts of the changeover switch, inserted between the output of C3 and SW2B is used to disable the HF microphone and route the Audio out to the FT 8100 DATA socket when its switched to the VHF/UHF position, so that sounds from the shack cannot enter the FT 8100's DATA socket.
An additional double pole toggle switch is mounted to the rear panel which effectively routes the soundcard output to soundcard input for soundcard calibration with certain software, including MMSSTV, which I use.
On air tests have been fine, no Hum or RF problems at all.
So, all in all, a great little kit that can compete with its very expensive cousins, and win hands down.
Wadda ya waiting for, go get one here:

Note: Please spend some time calibrating your soundcard for SSTV especially, theres a lot of stations out there sending slanted pictures due to overlooking this simple task.
