Review Summary For : New Tribe Nifty Throwing Kit - Throw Bag system
Reviews: 1MSRP: 37.35
Description:
It's a kit like those tree climbers use. Black Throwline and Shot Pouch
(weighted throw bag) tuck neatly away into the Linemug. When you're ready
to throw, clip the Linemug at your waist and open the drawstring top. Throw
the Shot Pouch and the line follows it right out of the bag.
If you want to make another throw, retrieve the Shot Pouch and let the
throwline tumble on the ground. Throw again, and the line will pay up off the
ground. The Throwline rope is braided, so it doesn't tangle like kite line.
Once you've made a shot where you like the line placement and height, attach
your rope to the line and pull it up into place. Then stuff the Throwline back
into the Linemug with the Shot Pouch on top.
Now you can go about rigging your antenna wires, pulleys, whatever. And the
weighted throw bag, which is heavy material filled with lead shot, doesn't
bounce around tree limbs and get snagged, but it's heavy enough to fall
down on the other side of the branch.
This kit would cost $41.50 if items were purchased separately.

Excellent replacement for slingshots and baseballs Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
If you're bad with slingshots or they don't allow them in your state, and if you've tried throwing balls with lines attach only to have them bounce and wrap around tree limbs, this is a great solution for putting lines up in trees for wire antennas.

The weight bag is loaded with shot, so it falls dead down the tree instead of bouncing or wrapping around the branch. And the black throwing line is braided so it doesn't tangle easily like kite line.

And it all fits in a bag you can clip to you belt. You can even climb up the tree and move the line higher if you're nimble enough, but you can probably get up easily 50 feet or more with this kit, and you won't slug yourself in the face with bad slingshot attempts.
