An excellent receiver! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I put my name on the initial SDR-IQ list, and received the unit promptly once RF-Space had started shipping. The unit is very small, but a great performer. I've tested it on HF where its performance is very very good even in bands like 40m where some of the signals can be very strong. The SpectraVue software is easy to use and has a great selection of modes along with continuously variable filters.

I mostly use the SDR-IQ along with an AOR receiver. The SDR-IQ is hooked to the IF output, and is used as a band scope mostly for looking at satellite signals. The particularly nice feature is being able to look at 190KHz of RF - its simply amazing how much one missus when only having access to the 3KHz filter and an audio FFT software tool. With the 190KHz, you can see a lot of satellite transponder bandwidth, along with a lot of wideband modes etc. On HF, its possible to see hoppers, ionosphere sounders, and to see the quality of transmitters etc. VHF airband is interesting, most of the AM aircraft transmitters have pretty poor PLL's and you can see the lockup as they push the PTT.

There is a write up of my impressions of the unit, along with some photo's of the PCB's etc online at http://www.uhf-satcom.com/sdr-iq/

All in all, I'm extreamly impressed - certainly the best $400 odd I've spent on radio kit recently.
