Does Good Work Time Owned: N.A.
I recently had Jack repair two radios. He does good work and is fast, friendly, and fair. What more can you ask for?

Best Tech I Have Seen Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Jack is a fine person to deal with. Heres proof. Dropped off my Icom R71A. Replaced memory battery. Programmed memory with new frequency limits. Aligned and adjusted PLL and carrier oscillator. Cost $53.50 total
Dropped off my Galaxy DX 2517. Replaced lamps. Check out entire radio. Check power out and receive. Cost $53.75 total
Dropped off my dead Realistic Pro-2004 vintage scanner. Jack had this one for a while and when I got it home it did not work. Tried it the next day and it worked. Strange. I called Jack and he immediatly told me to bring it back to him. However it still works so I have not returned it to him. Cost $30.00 total.
I highly recommend this person to anyone. He will let you drop off your equipment at his house and this prevents UPS from banging it around. Give him a shot. You wont be disappointed.

Excellent Service! Time Owned: N.A.
Jack repaired my FT-897. excellent job and excellent communications. I would recommend talking with Jack before you send your radio off to the factory,if its out of warranty. I felt that Jack went up and beyond the call of duty to get my rig fixed. I have been in the Broadcast business for over 20 years and Jack is one of those engineers that knows his business and rolls up his sleves and gets the job done.....with NO BS!

A very fine gentleman Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Jack worked on my FT-980 and found the problems quickly and executed the repairs accordingly. He is extremely maticulous in his communication and documentation. Before the repair even started we had a long phone conversation to discuss exact problems and his best guess as to what the cause might be. It took him a while before he finally did get it on the bench but it was well worth the wait. Best of all, Jack is a very, very nice man and honest in his dealings. His prices are very fair as compared to others I had checked in advance.

Excellent service Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I have a TS-930 that was intermittent on Transmit and the built in antenna tuner didn't work. I sent it to Willco, came back about 4 weeks later. I have full power on all bands (100 watts), tuner works very well. No problems. Other than the longer than expected wait, I give Willco my thumbs up. I paid slightly more than $100 plus shipping. I think that was a fair price.

Nightmare Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I sent my Yaesu ft-530 ht to him,it did not
transmit on 440 (70cm). It did receive on 440.
The 2-meter side did not have any problems at all. After I sent it I found out that he did not
have any service manuals or repair manuals for
the Yaesu ft 530. He then went into the radio
and tried to work on it and in doing so he Fried
the radio. He told me it wasn't worth fixing and
sent the radio back to me. When I received my
Yaesu ft 530 back I couldn't even power up the
radio,it was compeletely dead.
I then sent my Yaesu ft 530 to another
technician who took an in-depth look at my ht.
My new technician called me and told me there was screws inside the radio missing and that the whole radio was a mess. He could not
power the radio up because of what Wilco had
done to my radio previously. Now I am stuck with
a radio that burnt out and cannot be used or
fixed at all.

100% Satisfied Time Owned: more than 12 months.
He repaired my IC-706 & Ft-847. Only complaint
was that I had to reprogram the 706 memory.

pricey Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Specializes in ICOM rigs. But offered to repair my Yaesu FRG 8800.. replaced a $1.25 transistor and charged $101.00 (return shipping included). Thought that was a little excessive since UPS shipping between here and there was only $8.00 and change. One can assume that any thing done by them will be a $100 minimum charge.
