Excellent and Unique Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I generate thousands of QSO's per year in contests and normal operating. Frankly, QSL'ing was getting to be a real chore. I have managers for some DXpeditions I've done, but none for my home call operations. It was becoming a real time consumer to sit down and reply to all the incoming QSL cards I was receiving - I could easily spend a whole day every couple of months - and that was with using software to generate labels on cards.

I saw a flyer for GlobalQSL last year at Dayton, and decided to give them a try. What a pleasure it has been. The cards are high quality, and relatively easy to design with the GlobalQSL graphics editor. So far I've sent out nearly 18,000 cards, and it's been a tremendous time saver. People are receiving the cards fine (there was a time when the French QSL buro had an issue, but that was resolved quickly) and I've sent myself a few cards also.

I have found the service at GlobalQSL to be top notch, they are very responsive and pleasant whenever I have had questions.

A QSLers Dream Time Owned: more than 12 months.
GlobalQSL makes my life easier. With a backlog of 1000 QSLs, just the thought of manualy sending these gave me nightmares. With GlobalQSL I was able to upload my log, design a QSL and I was done. Honestly, I have no idea how they can print and send out these QSLs so cheaply, but they do. This is a great service. I dont understand why anyone would want to send out their own QSL cards. I use Ham Radio Deluxe and now I am completely PC controlled, including sending out my QSL cards.

Excellent Service! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I would like to thank all the guys involved into the GlobalQSL. They work really hard, never had a delay with answers. QSL-cards are top quality, quick delivery, very good packages. Their website and software work as a treat. If you know a little bit graphical design, their service is endless possibilities of your QSL design dreams.

Does it work? Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
In early December ('07) I designed and uploaded my QSL to this service. But I had some questions about the format. There were a few conflicting messages on their website about proofs (their policy seemed to change over time), so I send an e-mail asking if I could actually see a proof of my card. I received a prompt reply that said all I had to do was request one, so I did.

Nearly 3 months later I'm still waiting. Additionally, I recently received a message stating that they are raising their rates.

In reading the reviews here, I see a some glowing comments from people who have SENT QSL's through the service, but no one seems to have actually RECEIVED one. The oldest review is less than 11 months old (at this writing), and bureaus are slow, but the questions has to be asked . . .

Does this service actually work?

Saves time and money Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I work a fair amount of DX and am told by some DX stations that Kentucky can be hard to confirm on HF. Therefore, I have always received a lot of unsolicited DX cards through the bureau. And I have always answered them but at times have been slow to respond. I'm not proud of it but time spent filling out cards is time I'm not operating.

Three years ago, I finally mastered the art of using my computer log to print adhesive QSL labels. Printing 30 at a time made it possible to answer about 90 cards per hour. Better but still time consuming and costly.

Recently, I came across GlobalQSL and signed up for the service. I designed my own card and bought 100 for a trial run. So far, so good. Designing the card was easy and I was pleased with the results. I told a buddy that the real test would be the first time I answered a mailing from the bureau. I didn't have to wait long. An envelope from the bureau appeared in my mailbox about a week later. I entered log data manually for a couple of SWL cards in the group but uploaded an ADIF file for the rest. I couldn't believe it. For probably the first time in 38 years on the air, I actually replied to all the cards in a bureau mailing on the same day they were received! And no having to stick all the labels on the cards, no alphabetizing the cards by prefix, no going to my basement to look for a box to send the outgoing cards to ARRL and no trip to the post office for shipping and dealing with ever-escalating postal rates!

And the cost? Less than a dime per card. And no time spent organizing the mailing or paying the postage to CT. If this trial run goes as well as I think it will, I plan to then buy 1,000 cards and that will drive my cost down to just 8.2 cents per card -- period. You can't beat it.

If you get a lot of bureau cards, this is the way to handle them. Or, if you go on a mini-DXpedition to the Caribbean, for example, just upload your log via an ADIF file and send everybody you work a card via GlobalQSL and their bureaus and save yourself hours and hours of time spent answering cards. Might cost a little more but well worth the time saved.

Use Buro's? Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
If you use the world bureau system and send out 100 cards a year, this service is for you. I find sending 2,000 cards a year via ARRL outgoing bureau is costing to much money. Around 15 cents per card + postage to the League. Using GlobalQSL, the cost is 8.2 cents per card. The design software is great. Can come up with a good design under 30 minutes. If you would like a sample of the finish QSL, send me SASE and I will send you a sample of my card.

GlobalQSL has created a winner! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I was introduced to GlobalQSL in October 2006 during my 4XØWV CQWW operation. Initially, I thought this was going to be just another QSL printing service. But after learning more about GlobalQSL, I discovered it is much, much MORE than a QSL printing service.
In fact, GlobalQSL is probably one of the most innovative ideas our hobby has seen in a long time!

Now, if you don’t care about sending or receiving paper QSLs or, if you’re content with LOTW for your QSL needs, then GlobalQSL probably isn’t for you. You may not want to read any further.

On the other hand, if you are still buying paper QSL cards, either manually filling them out or printing your own labels with your QSO information, and then sending them via an outgoing QSL service, please read on and learn how you can take advantage of this newest concept in QSLing.

GlobalQSL is a revolutionary breakthrough using the latest in technology for managing your QSL requirements because it is not just a QSL printing and forwarding service. GlobalQSL offers ham radio and SWL enthusiasts a complete QSL Management System.

Azar Hami, 4X6MI and Paul Gross, 4X6UU, creators of GlobalQSL have now made this system available to the amateur and SWL world via their website: www.globalqsl.com To take advantage of this unique QSL management system, you will need to follow their three simple steps:
1. Create Your GlobalQSL Account
2. Create the Design of Your QSL Card
3. Upload Your ADIF Log.

GlobalQSL does the rest! They print the card and the QSO information, sort, and forward your QSLs to the QSL bureaus for you. No need for you to hassle with sorting, alphabetizing, packaging and mailing your QSLs to your outgoing QSL Bureau!

After reviewing GlobalQSL as part of their beta-testing team, I have discovered at least 7 things that the GlobalQSL Management System has to offer active QSLers:

• It’s Easy - Everything is done from your computer over your internet link to GlobalQSL. Azar and Paul have developed an easy-to-use Graphic Design Editor that makes creating and designing your own QSL cards a snap. The FREE Graphic Editor allows you to use your own electronic images in all standard image formats: JPEG, BMP, GIF, etc. They even provide a library of images for your possible use as well. They have also included an excellent tutorial that will have you designing your QSL card (front and back!) like a professional graphic designer in no time. And then, after designing your card, you merely upload your log file and choose which QSOs you wish to QSL. That’s all you do.
• Superb Quality – One thing is certain, GlobalQSL prints one of the finest looking QSLs you will find anywhere. The cards are printed in brilliant full-color BOTH front and back! They are printed on 300 gr. luxury chromo paper stock and treated with a glossy laminate for a professional finish. You will be proud to share these cards with your radio friends around the world.
• Exceptional Support – GlobalQSL has created user friendly, interactive tutorials that walk you through their QSL management process from start to finish. These are supplemented by extensive on-line FAQ and Help screens and a user forum that you can subscribe to. And if you still can’t find an answer to your question, email the folks at GlobalQSL and they will be glad to provide the assistance you need and deserve to ensure your experience with their QSL service meets your expectations.
• Versatility – Manage one callsign account or manage several. Want to change the design of your card? No problem. You decide when you want to have your cards printed and forwarded. You can even manually enter your QSO information, great for answering those SWL requests. Much, much more too…
• Time Savings – Let’s face it, if you are a serious contester or DXer and you are logging hundreds or even thousands of QSOs per year and are diligent about following up with your “QSL paperwork,” then you may be spending less time making the QSOs and more time with your QSLs trying to stay caught up. With GlobalQSL you literally do not touch your outgoing QSLs. It is like having your very own personal QSL manager doing the work for you. This gives you more time to enjoy making QSOs at the rig.
• Value – Hams generally know a bargain when they see one and so it didn’t take me long to see the value of GlobalQSL. Right now the value couldn’t be better! GlobalQSL is offering an introductory special of only $82 for 1,000 QSLs printed with QSO information (up to 5 QSOs per card), and forwarded to the respective QSL bureaus around the world serving their amateurs. Where can you even get 1,000 2-sided color QSLs printed for $82 let alone forwarded too?!? I would typically pay almost $80 to use the ARRL’s outgoing service including my postage costs to mail 1,000 QSLs to Newington, CT! So as far as cost savings, the value of GlobalQSL is a no brainer!
• GlobalQSL is Fun – I enjoy working with images and graphics and have been designing my own QSLs for several years. Of course, computers and the advent of graphic editing software have made things easier for those of us who like to be creative in this way. I have several ideas about different QSL designs and look forward to sharing these designs and QSLs with stations I log. The features of GlobalQSL will allow me to utilize my creative abilities, something I enjoy doing.

With all this, I can only think of two reasons why an active QSLer wouldn’t consider GlobalQSL—either he hasn’t come into the 21st century in terms of using a computer with ham related electronic tools like logbooks and having internet capabilities or, he just doesn’t know about the incredible QSL Management System offered by GlobalQSL. I hope I have helped inform you if you are in this second category. Perhaps I will soon be receiving your QSL via GlobalQSL. If we have a QSO, you will be receiving mine! GlobalQSL is my QSL Management System.

First 1000 Cards at the Printers Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Impressive start-up service. Kudos to the Beta Testers.

Took less than 20 minutes to design a QSL based on my existing QSL card and upload the adif log files to get my first batch of QSL cards on their way to print.

Be clear this is NOT an electronic QSL service, but is a QSL Printer who's technology allows you to (optionally) preprint your logged QSO information on your newly printed cards.

Further report once I start hearing from those receiving my newly printed cards.

My cost was $82 for 1000 cards, which is pretty usual.
