Just what I needed - not as much quality as I would like Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is just what I needed. And they must be popular - because I had to wait more than a month to get one. It arrived today and I can tell it will do exactly what I need it to. But I'm going to take the hardware off of the board they sent and mount it onto a better piece of wood - that is finished well also - after all, half of this does face inside - so it ought to be presentable. The item came new out of the box with greasy fingerprints on the metal and wood. The paint is thin and the wood splintered. It doesn't appear that any thought was given to finishing it off with 'spit and shine' - or even to use a smooth piece of wood. It's a good thing it's electrically simple - or I would be worried. The connectors are in good shape, and the silk screening on the metal panel looks good, so I'll get the parts I was really after. Overall, if I could have found the parts myself - I would have just built it. Looking at it - I would feel better if I had paid $20 less. (At least my dealer gave me a better price than MFJ would have). As it is, it will do what I need - and I can get on the air without cutting into my ceiling and walls - which would have been more costly and time consuming. Recommended now that you know what you are getting.

Overpriced Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
You can do the same thing with a 1 x 6 cut to length, a 3/4 0r 1 inch drill and some long screws and nuts....for a lot less money and a little energy

Thank goodness Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I like others have had a problem with the better half when it comes to routing coax etc. into the house. This panel solved all of the problems in one nice looking package. While I am sure that there are better ways to get the cables into the shack, this is good looking and convenient.

Economical! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I fussed around with trying to figure out how to bring my antenna feedlines into the house for several years. I had seen the MFJ-4602 advertised recently and figured, like previous reviewers, I could just as easily make one myself. After months of procrastinating going out to buy all the individual parts, I finally bought one.

I didn't install it right away because I had some other considerations, such as more than the three coax feedlines, a rotator cable, and an external 75 ohm TV coax line. These problems were easily solved by drilling additional holes in the plank for the SO-239 feedthrough barrels, and cut a slot to let the other cables through.

In short, this is a quick solution to bringing antennas into your shack. And if you mess it up with customization, you still have the hardware and can run down to the lumber store for a new piece of plank to rebuild it yourself.

The only cheaper solution would be if MFJ sold just the hardware and let you buy and treat your own wood panel. But I'm more than happy with the product. And if I mess it up with further customizations, I can always buy another piece of wood and build a new one with the parts.

Looks pretty good! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I purchased one of these because I didn't want the hassle of drilling holes in the side of the house to run coax for a new antenna ( been there done that!).

It took me about 10 minutes to install. Most of the time was spent trying to find a decent saw to trim the board. The actual installation of the panel in the window sill took just a minute. The end results look great!

Yes, the panel is a little over priced but I think it's worth it.

Good but not Great! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
My Wife objected to the coax coming through the window, wrapped in foam and duct tape - no accounting for taste. She insisted that I do something about this so I showed her the MFJ Feedthrough Panel. It was love at first site as she broke out her credit card and phoned in an order. After a 3 week wait for the backorder the box arrived.

When I saw it my first reaction was that I could have done this for a lot less. Then I started adding up the cost of the parts, the necessary tools needed to to a neat job, and the time necessary to build this. It actually is a pretty good buy!

My problems are the board that the panel is built on was chipped out on one edge. The SS screws that were installed through the ceramic insulators and for the ground post did not have the heads cut off. I guess they want you to use spade lugs - not my first choice.

All told, a typical MFJ product - Good but NOT Great!!
