Best in this size Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I imported a TA53 directly from USA because its much cheaper incl. p&p than in EU (30% off) and after one year I ordered the TA63 conversion kit. This kit didnt work well, but after 3 months mosley exchanged it with a working one.
I have not so much space for an antenna, so this one is the best for this size.
The fw/refl. could be better, I mounted it at 11m, SWR is below 1:1,4 at all bands.
150 km/h wind I have last winter, also ice storm, the antenna have now straight elements without any Viagra :-). Its rotated by a G-1000 DXA, which fits perfect.
I hope I will have no problmes in the long future.

Easy Modification Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
The TA-53/63 6m mod to the TA-53 is an easy, 45 minute project. This mod adds the 6m band to the 5 band (10/12/15/17/20) TA-53. It changes out the end pieces of the reflector (makes it a bit longer) and changes some tubing of the forward driven element (makes it shorter). Then, an element is added in front of the reflector and another added behind the director, making 6 total elements on the antenna. It loaded easily without additional adjustments.
