12 Elements on a 17' boom with 14.7 dB forward gain. Ariane Arrays owns the original Rutland Arrays K1FO Jigs of all designs that were optimized for the best gain and front/back ratios. The K1FO series of antennas are widely regarded as one of the best antenna designs on the market still today. We've made them more rugged to survive winds and ice that others can't with the use of heavy duty 1/4" rod elements, Celcon M90™ UV rated element bushings, and heavy wall tubing for our booms. Well built, will see how well it works! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I just got one of these yesterday fro a HAM buddies estate who is a silent key. It appears to be new, as he only had it up about a year. It is nicely built, and I hear and read nothing but great things about this antenna. Mine is the 12 element yagi as well, and has a small tuning section on the feed line attach point. I am looking for a manual on it or at least a copy of the instructions that came with it. I am going to stick it on an antenna anylizer before using it and see where it is tuned before anything else.

One of the best antenna purchases I have ever made! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have purchased and used a number of 2 Meter and 432 MHz antennas from several different companies over the years and I can say without any reservation this antenna is hands down the best. I purchased two of these antennas and received them within 6 days. They arrived well boxed and without any shipping damage from the manufactuer. From the time you open the box, you realize a lot of attention to detail went into getting this product to the hands of serious VHF'ers. An antenna built by company that knows it's buisness and what Hams come to expect. All parts where nicely packaged, and labeled in individually marked bags. A tube of anti-oxidant compound is even included to prevent corrosion build up between the boom sections. Instructions are professional, color printed, including photos. Instruction are very well written in a concise and simple step by step manner. I can't say enough about the size, quality and choice of material used in the design of this antenna. Heavy Duty throughout. Get ice in the winter in your area? Don't worry, this antenna will survive those ice storms. All parts are accuratley machined and deburred. Boom and mast brackets are large heavy duty and the best design I have ever seen for mounting the antenna to the mast. Each element is colored coded, what a joy, saving you a lot of time in assembly. At 17 foot long, no boom support is needed and the antenna balances on the mast when mounted. I purchased the power divider and phasing harnesses as well from Ariane Arrays and mounted these antennas on a new Rohn 25G tower. The top antenna is at 55 feet and the bottom antenna at 45 feet. Once inside the shack, SWR's proved to be right on as anticipated by the manufactuers tuning directions. Front to Back and Side to Side rejection are superb. I have made contacts into Oklahoma from Kansas City on ground wave at 358 miles and a mobile at 185 miles with ease so far. You have to hear them to work them and these antennas do both. My only regret is that I had purchased these sooner and not wasted my money on the "other guys" 13 and 17 element designs. You might pay a few dollars more for this antenna, but you get unbelieveable return in quailty and performance. Want to get serious about weak signal work, look no further!
