Great Tuner Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have several Ten Tec Model 277 antenna tuners. I bought my first Ten Tec Model 277 in 1977, and now own 4 of them. I like to feed wire antennas with 600 ohm open wire feedline and 450 ohm ladder line. I am retired and have tested a number of different antenna tuners over the years. The Ten Tec Model 277 is able to tune up balanced lines that other far more expensive tuners fail to tune up. The antenna tuner circuit in this tuner is really good. I don't understand why someone is not still making this tuner. This tuner is an exceptional winner. I just wish this tuner could work with a linear.

Seems good Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Bought this recently at Seapac in Seaside OR.
It is my first antenna tuner so I have nothing to compare it to but it tunes up my coax fed Windom antenna on all bands 80-10m (alittle difficult to tune on 10m)

Great Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Wish I had two more. Really do. I also use a LDG 100Pro on my Jupiter, and a Ten Tec 229 on my Ten Tec 544 Digital -- but sometimes -- nothing will match as quickly, easily or as well --- as my 277. Really like it on my Ten Tec QRP 509. I bought the 277 Tuner 30 years ago when I lived in Las Vegas --- and it will be one of those items the XYL will have to include in the estate sale ---- because --- like all Ten Tec Products --- it is a keeper. Like most Ten Tec products --- it keeps some of the joy in operating.
