Nice feel to the key Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I purchased the CT-755 chromed version on Jun 20th for $196 shipped and it showed up on Jul 14th. Once set up and adjusted I've started practicing sending with it as this is my first single paddle key. So far, I really prefer it to an iambic from an operational perspective. The action of the key is nice, the contact gaps can be adjusted easily, and the chrome finish is excellent. I'm going to try and figure out how to 3d print a replacement finger piece for it sometime down the road as that's personal preference.

So far it's a winner!

Wonderful Paddle Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I would like to preface this review by stating that I have been a ham since 1976, and have never really liked iambic paddles. Many years ago after I migrated to single lever paddles, I found that being more complex it can be difficult to design, and build a reliable product that didn't have at least some disappointing features regardless of price.

Having tried many different paddles, some very expensive, I had about given up, until I ran across Yuri's single lever paddle with magnetic return. His communications are excellent, he shipped fast, and it was well packed.

I purchased mine in chrome, and found the workmanship to be stellar, and best of all is how well it performs. Over the last few months, I have refined the adjustments until I have it operating to my satisfaction. Nothing has come loose or shifted, and the silver contacts never need burnishing. It feels very smooth and crisp without any slop or lost motion, it's heavy enough to stay in place on the desk, and I believe it has helped to improve my sending.

You could pay way more money and still not get a better paddle. This one is a keeper, and I can't fault it in any way.

The only thing that I would change if I were to do it again, is to request a 3.5mm plug instead of the supplied ¼ in plug, but that's a minor nit.

If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Thank's Yuri for a great product.

Will get you there...in style. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I am a newbie to CW and debated between the Vibrokeyer and the CT 755.  I started with the Vibrokeyer.  I bought the chrome version as I understand it is easier to maintain. The CT 755 key has 2 arms on adjustable pivot mechanisms where the conical screws fit into the arms.  The 'dah' arm has a magnet imbedded in it.  The paddle is attached to the 'dit' arm.  A small screw in the 'dit' arm pushes the 'dah' arm, there is no need to adjust it.  The adjustable magnet in the 'dit' arm pulls both the arms together towards the center vertical stop pin.  During the 'dah' activation the outboard magnet on the stationary arm is attracted to the magnet on the 'dah' arm forcing it back against the vertical stop pin.  The 'dit' arm magnet controls the force on the 'dit' arm and returns it to the neutral position.  It seems you would first adjust the contact gaps to what you want and then the 'dit' arm magnet and lastly the outboard magnet to get the 'dah' force.  Magnet force is inversely proportional to the distance between them so it looks like you can get a very wide range of return forces.

I don't see anything to dislike about the CT755.  The fit and finish is good with no tooling marks. At my code level both my keys perform equally.  When run silently I feel the CT755 is tighter and quieter than the Vibrokeyer and a high speed user might notice the difference.  I enjoy the classic American Vibrokeyer but if performance was the decider and price was equal I'd recommend the CT755.

High Quality Single Lever. Beautiful in Chrome. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have used a Dual Lever Paddle for years, but only recently got more interested in CW. I wanted to try a reasonably priced single lever to see if my rusty CW sending would improve.
Yury was extremely responsive to all my questions before and after the purchase.
The shipping package is very rugged and the key arrived faster than expected from Ukraine and in perfect condition. The paddle has smooth, magnetic action and the adjustments stay where I put them.
The chrome plating is mirror-like with no visible plating flaws.
Overall, a great single lever at a very attractive price.

Beautifully crafted Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
As others have said, this is a beautifully-crafted single-lever paddle. The packing is superb, as is Yury's communication - I was in touch with him a number of times by email before and after purchase.

I have found that I prefer Vibroplex-style finger pieces, so I was looking for a well-made single-lever paddle with finger pieces that would be easy to change. I replaced the original acrylic pieces with a custom walnut finger piece that extends a bit farther out than the original and added a side knob like a Vibroplex. The extended finger piece provides a bit more distance from the pivot, thus more leverage and I found that it improved the feel, at least for me.

Fine-tuning the adjustment takes a bit of care due to the small size of the parts but once done, it holds the setting well.

Highly recommended!

Above all expectations Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I just received my UR5CDX CT755-B paddle. I received it triple-boxed, fixed with two screw to a metal base plate to protect the key during transport. The key comes with cable and gold plated jack plug. I even got a name plate with my callsign on it.
The key is absolutely beautiful. It's unbelievable how Yuri can make a quality key for this price. The finish is amazing.
I'm still learning CW, but i notice that while practicing i make a lot less mistakes than with my previous keys.
I don't have experience with Begali or Vibroplex, only with Bencher. I can tell you that this is much better than the Bencher, it feels much more solid and for me, i don't need to spend money on a Begali.
From what i see now, this key will be with me for a long time.

Looks good. Works good. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
The chrome version I ordered arrived in 11 days and was very well packed. It was adjusted right out of the box but I tweaked it to my liking which took less than a minute due to ease of adjustment. The fit and finish is perfect and there are no blemishes on the chrome. It looks striking on the operating table. The base is heavy and does not move. I like the clear plastic finger-piece profile and size which makes sending a joy. I have a few single-lever paddles of varying prices and this might be the best value. My kent is also in this price range and is very good but only available in brass, not chrome -- if that is what you want. I'm very pleased with this paddle.

Well made, and beautiful in chrome plate Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Due to some arthritis issues in my hands, I'm finding that squeeze keys are giving me trouble I've never had before. And I LOVE my Begali paddles. After reading Marshall Emm's (N2FN) treatise on single paddle inputting to keyers, and remembering that this is where/how I started (after retiring the bug), I decided to give it a try. I'm still adjusting, but this paddle from Yuri is terrific. I ordered the chrome plate version after reading the earlier reviews, and at the current pricing and exchange rate, that ran about $185 for paddle and shipping to the USA. It arrived in 10 days, very well packed. It was perfectly adjusted to my touch when opened, so I have not played with the adjustments at all yet. Compared to competitors in the single-lever paddle market, I'd say Yuri has earned a high position.

Fantastic! Solid, Smooth, and Beautifully Made Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
The feel of this paddle when sending CW with this paddle has exceeded my expectations. It is very smooth and stays on my desk without moving around, without the need of double sided tape securing it. I bought this as a gift to myself, celebrating 51 years as a cw op, and gaining membership in the CW OPS club.

The CT-755 comes in either brass or chrome. I chose chrome after sending several emails to hams who had a brass paddle or key (made by UR5CDX or other suppliers). The conclusion was that even in a dry climate brass WILL tarnish and lose the beautiful golden glow. One ham said that he has to take apart his paddle once a year or more to polish it; this I did not want to bother with! The chrome finish does look very good and I am very please with my choice of chrome (see the pics on my QRZ page). I also chose a single paddle as I do like to TX at 25 wpm and plan for higher speeds.

The quality of engineering is as perfect as can be. I cannot see any imperfections or flaws in the chrome finish. The CT-755 does not have ball bearings (like the double paddles that Yuri makes) because they are not needed with the overall lighter mechanism.

Yuri's English is good and he promptly replied to several of my emails, and he did this in a friendly and professional manner, which counts a lot in my book. I was concerned with the political/military situation in Ukraine but the city where Yuri lives is not affected by the unrest so his business is OK.

The paddle arrived in 11 days - all the way to New Zealand. Yuri sent Order Updates and included a tracking number. Never have I seen ANY item packaged so well! The package probably could have been thrown from a rooftop without damaging the paddle!

In conclusion: If you really want to spend double or more then get the overpriced Italian or USA fancy paddles, but I doubt that you would find them to be any better when sending CW. I disagree with NU7T's review below as I do have a single lever Kent paddle and the CT-755 is much better! So if you want a top quality paddle, treat yourself and get this paddle! (Or other ones made by UR5CDX).

Perfect paddle Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I found this paddle by an incident, searching for something on eBay. After I read some reviews I decided to give it a try, since the price also appeared affordable to me. And I’m glad I did. The paddle arrived quickly as promised, it was exceptionally well packed, protected against shipping abuse. It’s carefully manufactured, high precision machine, I was not able to detect any imperfections or misfit parts. I ordered chrome plated variant, all parts have mirror-like shine and will not fade. Adjustments are in wide range and very smooth, both for contacts space and tension. The paddle came with attached cable terminated with 1/4" phone plug. Also, this paddle is heavy, has rubber feet and appears very stable on the desk.

This single lever paddle is just perfect for my style and I could recommend this product wholeheartedly for all amateurs who love CW.
