Fantastic DXpedition & Conservation DVD Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I won't duplicate other reviewers, except to note that the combination of simple dipole use, combined with the island scenery and conservation theme make for one extremely entertaining video. I've watched it several times, and never tire of it.

I bought this after watching the Peter Island DXpedition from another vendor, and after having purchased the K4M Midway DVD. The K4M was o.k., but this is an extraordinary DVD. It not only describes the daily operations with video of operators, but it goes into a well-presented history of the island and a tragic death of one of the conservation employees. It also profiles the captain and staff of the transport boat, as well as some joking scenes while customs are examining the gear before approving it to be shipped to the island. It was as good as any NatGeo documentary I've seen. Some ham DVDs can get a bit boring after a while, and some seem to go on forever. I plan on re-watching this one as a regular addition to my collection. BUY IT!

EXcellent DVD Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I totally agree that this is a super DVD made by James.

Tip for James: At the end of the DVD make a summary of the equipment and sofware used by the DX expedition.

Great DXpedition video Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I second what Lee has written so eloquently about the ZL8R DVD by James Brooks, 9V1YC. As we have come to expect of him, James goes far beyond scenes of antenna building, takedown and pileup working. He tells the whole story from beginning to end. And in the process, he acquaints us with the unique beauty of this seldom visited location. Thanks James.
