Bad warranty service Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Check up on warranty and on repairs. My Samlex died, and it took weeks for a repair. Instead of fixing my item, they sent another used one. It died soon after, but they refused to fix that one, saying the original warranty had expired. Policies may have changed, so check before you buy.
Gave up and bought a PowerWerx. No issues for many years now. If it is good enough for Elecraft to re-sell, it is good enough for me.

So far, so good. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Only owned a short time. PS voltage meter cal was off a couple of volts and I adjusted it. No problems noted, and it's powering a Kenwood TS-44SAT, Yaesu Ft8800 and a Xiegu G90. I'd love for it to last as long as my Astron RS-20M, which I bought new decades ago, and it is still holding its own.

Good Supply while it lasted Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This was purchased to power my Flex 3000 in 2010. It worked well and there was no issue with hash. I am a light activity ham so it probably has less than 500 hours total use, and my station is disconnected from antennas and AC power when not in use. This month I turned on the supply to look at the HF bands, and all seemed well enough. A week later I decided to get on the air, powered things up, and while still on receive, "Pow," the supply died with a snap and a puff of smoke. My Astron (which I don't use on the Flex because it is marginal on a 100w xcvr) powered up the Flex with no problem so that was not the issue. Seems like a rather short life span to me. That said, I will probably get another one since it is much quieter (HF hash) then my Alinco DM-330MV I have on VHF/UHF.

Good supply but poor repair service! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have been using the SEC-1235 for 3 years and 1 day. All has been good using this supply for a YFT 450 100 w rig. Fan seems to run more them needed even for lite use of supply. One day passed warranty the supply went dead. I called the Samlex Co. to see if they would cut me a break on repair as I was one day over warranty. They said I must buy a new supply at full cost. So not real happy with service repair but supply is good for a lite use cycle 100 w rig. My older Astron lasted me for over 10 years, with no problems.

Awesome Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have owned this Samlex SEC-1235M for 3 years now,
it gets turned on in the morning and usually off at night.
It has ran my Yaesu FT-991 without a moments problems for 3 years everyday.
I have no electronic or switching noise issues with it whatsoever, ( I have made sure) it just works and works.
The fan noise is barely noticeable over the noise in my ears, so that is not an issue for me.
I suspected the amp meter was a little goofy and it finally quit, however under warranty Vladimir sent me a replacement at no charge, and 5 minutes to put it in and it's as good as new.
I cannot recommend this supply highly enough, or their outstanding customer service.
Two Thumbs Up!!
Great Unit / Great Service!!

Great PSU Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have the 1235M model. I've had this power supply since I got my ticket in 2016. I’m very happy with this purchase. I’ve waited this long to review this power supply because I was very green to the Ham hobby when I bought it. Now I can safely say it does the job well for my needs. I have this paired with my FT-991A and couldn’t be more happy with the ease of use and quick set up!

Good PS Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Just recently ordered two for a new shack setup. The first one came and was pinning the Voltmeter so a quick check with a multimeter showed exactly 13.83 volts so a quick adjustment on the meter resolved that issue.

The second one arrived and no meter adjustment was required it too sat at exactly 13.83 Volts. Haven't really used them enough yet to determine fan noise but I was impressed with how quickly they did respond to an email on a different topic.

The engineer that answered also offered his personal contact info if I had any further questions. That type of service lacks today.

Great Power Supplies Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have a Samlex SEC-1235, a SEC-1235M, and a SPS-1204UL, all of which I've used for several years. No hash, low fan noise, no problems! I'm very satisfied with these power supplies.

Good Power Supply Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Small, light and so fat reliable. I went searching the HF spectrum for noise or hash and found none. I compared the noise floor using the Samlex and an Astron linear supply and found no difference.

The terminal blocks are not what I am accustomed to using, though once connected they seem solid. Samlex provides two crimp/solder pins to the DC cable but of course having ruined the first cable two pins were not enough. They do work fine on #10. I made solder ends to fit in the terminal blocks and this seems to work.

It is so small and light that it is now located within a foot of the rig keeping cables short.

Died after 3 years Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This was a very reliable unit while I owned it until I started doing digital modes like JT8. The fan started running all the time although I was only running the Kenwood Ts-590 at 5 watts but sometimes for a couple of minutes with WSPR transmissions. Then the PS just died! It has a 3 year warranty and I need to contact HRO to find out if the warranty is still in effect. Prior to the last month, the fan rarely came on.
