High Quality Kit			Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
The kit was a pleasure to assemble in a reasonable time. Double-balanced mixers in the receive and transmit path, a professional grade circuit-board and a good circuit design underline the high quality of this kit. The documentation is sufficient and can be found online.

Very good quality kit			Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Have build two now and they all perform very well. Worth the money. And a lot of fun to build and use it. There are many hams in Europe that give help in case you have difficulties. Easy to obtain parts are used. So if you blow (very uncertain) something it is not a big deal to get replacements.

I bought this kit and the accompanying amplifier last year. It represents a reasonably expensive way onto the 4 meter band (70Mhz). But more and more countries are acquiring this band and there is very little commercial equipment. The kit comes with all parts and is easy to construct and align, I must say that I really enjoyed making this . The circuits and instructions are on the web + some nice examples by other hams who made this kit. You need to be reasonably good at construction to make this but not an expert. I drive it directly from an FT-2000 and have had good results. The PA is a module and requires a reasonable heatsink if you wish to run FM or FSK. If you are thinking of 4m this is worth considering.
