Cool !!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Although I certainly don't need another clock in the shack, I couldn't resist this one! The kit went together without problems in little more than 30 minutes, and it worked without problems right away. It's a nice kit with quality components, and there are even some unfilled component slots on the pcb for a USB connection to a PC - looks like I'm going to have something to play around with for a while.

Great kit, top quality PCB and components. Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
The functionality of this kit is incredible. The image quality is excellent.
Low end digital oscilloscopes may not work very well, analog or hi-end will probably work OK. I’m using a Tektronix 604 XY display from the 70’s with awesome results.
Good soldering skills are needed especially if you want to add the USB option, and the WEB site is not very clear with a multitude of versions.

Just for fun! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
The Dutchtronix Oscilloscope Clock Kit puts a clock face on the screen of an oscilloscope in XY mode. There are an amazing number of configuration options for the clock. The kit is simple and very inexpensive. It has battery backup so it keeps time even when powered down.

One word of warning, there is no step-by-step manual. You need to know your way around a circuit board in order to get the diodes in right, the chips facing the right way etc.

When I am working at the hobby bench this kit is left running on the old o-scope for entertainments sake. It is amazing how complex the picture that can be drawn on the scope screen without retrace blanking.
