A good speaker, with a nice bottom end that roll off nicely. It does not have a nasal sound like smaller boxes.

Controls:
- A/B input switch to select one of two rigs.

The two high filters can be stacked for further high end roll off.

Ok Speaker Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I found the SP-930 okay for most radios including my hybrid(s). The filters are very subtle, so you have to listen closely. Could be the current radios out there won't have an appreciable effect on audio. Nice speaker, good size, easy to use and you can stack the high filters 1 and 2 for a slight subtle effect.

GREAT SPEAKER Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This speaker works great with my TS-930S and other HF radios I have. I mainly use it for my TS-930S and it's a perfect match. I have not experienced the issues as the previous review. The sound from my speaker is full, rich, and clear. The filters work great and it's much better than any plain old communication speaker without filters that I have used. I believe this speaker is worth the investment and will complement any amateur radio system. I'm keeping mine even if I ever get rid of my TS-930S. Tim, KX7P.

OK with some mods Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I found this speaker to have quite an objectionable hollow sound. There is a styrofoam baffle inside, about 2 inches back from the speaker, but it has four 1" holes in it. The cabinet is deep, about 12", with slits near the back. I reduced the hollow sound considerably by cutting a piece of cardboard and inserting it in front of the styrofoam baffle. The filters have a discernable effect but not significant. For the price these go for on eBay it's not bad, but my $20 Radio Shack mobile speaker sounds better - just doesn't match the equipment.
