Great PS Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Great for running my TE-1452g amp @ 55a 13.8v fits perfect underneath. The detent was at 14v but with the flick of a wrist back to where it should be. Come a long way from the Astron 70M 50lb days

Would recommend Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
The Pro's:
A fine PSU, no spurious emissions. I only run one rig on it so far and its not breaking a sweat at around 20A current draw, as was intended.

The caveats:
It's long / deep. Longer than I expected, but that's in the spec.
There is quite an amount of fan noise and it's continuous. I'll look into replacing it when the warranty is up, but if you're looking for a quiet shack, this may not be the one.
It aint cheap.

Outstanding Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I bought this power supply because I wanted a product that would deliver as much power as I would ever need. After having used it for two years I am thoroughly convinced that I could not have made a better choice. There is absolutely no hash. It delivers solid performance. Yes, it is pricey. But, you get what you pay for. You get a solid performer that never fails.

You got what you pay for ! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Got tired of a noisy retired server power supply and began my search for something more appropriate for my ALS-500m. I use it at home instead of mobile. I know, I should have got the ALS-600 for that but that's another story. The Ameritron needs a stiff PSU to deliver it's power. The manual quote for 80A but i've found that at 14.5V, 60A is quite sufficient to produce a clean 450w out all day long. This way the IMD is low and the amp is sleeping.Back to the PSU. After narrowing my search to this one, I discovered that it is manufactured under a few iterations (Manson and Tenma). This beast is built like a tank. The construction is first rate.High quality components inside and out.Even a very capable AC filter on the main input.I am impressed also with the electrical performance.Zero hash noise on the bands and rock-solid output under demanding loads.
At 309$ from HamCity in CA, you would be hard pressed to find a better deal for a high-current adjustable PSU.

Very Nice Design Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
This supply while expensive proves you get what you pay for. Zero Hash and runs cool with the large but quiet cooling fan mounted at the back of the supply. This is a variable voltage type of supply. Very large terminals are mounted in the back where in my opinion they should be. If u open the door on the front of the supply you will find a jack for a cigarette lighter adapter and terminals for light duty connections similar to the terminals you would find on home stereo speakers ( push in and insert wire type). These light wires can be ran underneath the door so u can keep the door shut. Diamond got it right with this powerful power supply.

115 or 220 input Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have a Tokyo 350 amplifier and tried an Astron 75 Amp supply but it would trip the 115 volt breaker when turning it on. With this supply, I ran a 220 volt line with no problems and gives me 350 watts output on 2 meter CW/SSB
