Good value Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I've had my DM330MV for a while now. It has worked great, it looks nice, and has some really nice features (as others have mentioned).

Only a couple gripes:

1) The unit occasionally makes a squeeling/buzzing noise on TX (not very loud, but noticeable). The noise can usually be cancelled out with adjustment of the noise offset knob, but I have yet to find a single setting on the knob that keeps the unit quiet on all 4 power output settings of the FT1500M.

2) Loose product specs. My unit only goes down to 6V, not 5... the "click point" is not exactly at 13.8V... the voltage meter is off considerably, especially at the lower levels. Alinco has explained that this is normal due to variances in components (i.e. not a defective unit) and explained that this is not a high-dollar unit (i.e. a cheaper meter was used).

All in all I'm very happy with the unit. Alinco provides excellent customer support for their products - typically very fast and detailed responses to inquiries - so that is a plus. It's nice not to lug my Astron linear supply around anymore. Despite the very minor gripes noted above, I feel this unit is an excellent value for what I paid.

Excellent value Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I've had it for about 10 months now, in almost continuous operation for my APRS igate and HF rigs, and it has been flawless. Excellent connectors, no discernable noise ( RF and otherwise ), and no problems at all.

Almost a 5 Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
This is not a bad little power supply. I've used it for nearly a year and had very little problem with it. The only thing that kept this unit from being a 5 is the rear power studs. They are loose internally and make it difficult to tighten the posts down as they should be. One of these days I'm going to take it apart, since the warranty is over, and tighten these posts down. Otherwise, I've noticed no noise generated by this unit that couldn't be moved with the front mounted noise offset knob. It's also very small. It would make a wonderful portable unit.

Great value in a small package Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I was debating between one of the other brands built like a big grey shoe box (you know the brand), and decided on this one instead.

Smaller, more full-featured, quiet "like it's not there" fan, and $10 less at the store.

Great little monster of a unit that is portable when you need it, takes up no space in the shack.

Great power supply Time Owned: more than 12 months.
It's small, it's light, it's quite, it's powerfull, it's fair priced...
I'm really happy with this power supply, I never had noise problems that are usually found in other switching power supplies....

I Like It... Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Multi functional, small, clean power. No problems so far. I currently use Samlex & Astron switchers in addition to the Alinco. They're all clean. This has added bells/whistles...10A cig. liter plug & two 5A snap-in DC terminals on front panel. Dual metering, variable voltage, yada, yada, yada. $139 shipped hard to beat.

Good for Field Days Time Owned: more than 12 months.

Good buy Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I use mine all the time. I run CW, SSB, PSK31, RTTY, and SSTV. I have never had any problems with mine. No noise at all. I am very pleased with mine. It is very nice to have the connectors and cigarette lighter plug in the front. I use it for extended period during contest. I bought mine on sale from RandL.com and wish I had bought two at that price.

Outstanding PS Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I had two of them for the last year and a half. One is connected to my ICOM 746 and ICOM 207. I have hammered both systems for long periods of time and have had no problems what so ever at home. What I mean is that I run heavy 6 meter, PSK31, and CW. The last two will excerise the power supply and following proper grounding I have not heard anything out of the ordinary on any of the bands. Maybe Im just lucky but the same holds true for my other unit that I take with me on trips that is connected to an ICOM 706MKIIG and tuner. That unit has been powered by standard hotel power or a power generator that we use when camping with the Boy Scouts. This one has like the one above have not displayed any noise. If I had to purchase another one, I would consider Alinco.
