Very nice! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
PS for my FT857D, build together with a MFJ-992 Autotuner in a small flightcase. No problems at all at full power.

Bought for 99 euros this is a top notch power supply. Works great with my FT857D and MFJ-929.
Dislike the the preset and powerleds, way to much light. put a small tape over them...
Buy one if you can!

Excellent Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
No noise on any band, quiet and looks good on the desk. No problem holding long periods of RTTY key-down transmitting with 100 watts out of an FT-897D. Stays cool as well. Accessory jacks on the front work great to charge the HT and power the LDG meter.

Great Portable Power Supply Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
OK, I've only owned mine for a few months but WOW!

I purchased this Power Supply for portable op's and small weight and size. I was specifically putting together a rig which could be carried-on while traveling on the Airlines.

My DM-330MVT easily powers my Icom 706MKIIG at full power. While transmitting HF phone, I saw the amp meter indicate around an 8 amp draw. I could run all day and see no drop in performance, whatsoever.

I suspect that they may have changed the design on these recently. I had read where many had been sent back for repair, but I think these were earlier models having two-prong power cords. My Alinco has the three prong cord, so requires no grounding.

I highly recommend this mighty-mite Power Supply!

Outstanding!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I’m impressed with this little supply. I’ve owned other switcher supplies (astron and samlex), and the Alinco is the best of them(it’s quieter, runs cooler, smaller, and higher current rating). I like the pre-set voltage feature, as I set it at 14.5V to charge my AGM battery bank via a West Mountain Pwr-Gate PG40S. As a result my radio is powered even when I turn off the power supply which made it easy to see if any “noise” on the band was due to the supply. Couldn’t see (band scope on ProIII) or hear any noise generated by the supply from 160M to 10M. I have the supply grounded via a ½ inch copper braid connected directly to a single point ground system, which no doubt eliminates any possible RF hash (some have reported RF hash, most likely due to poor grounding of the supply). This supply should be great for portable use, as it’s no bigger than an Icom 706 radio. Great job Alinco!!!!!

good product, no service Time Owned: more than 12 months.
After a few years of trouble-free performance, it quit - dead. That happens, but what I did not expect was lack of service. When I called the Alinco-designated service rep, I was told that it would be wiser to buy a new unit, as the minimum repair charge ($80) plus shipping would approximate the cost of a new unit. Service info is inadequate, so if your power supply fails, you are out of luck. Still don't know why it quit. The unit was used little, the fuse is good, but no sign of life. Dealer (HRO) was no help.

EXCELLENT!!! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I ran my 857d, FT-8800 and my LDG 200PRO tuner.... This power supply is awesome!

With the 857d on 100 watts and my FT-8800 pushing 50 watts, the power supply worked perfectly!

I thought I'd blow a fuse or the power supply wouldn't cut it. I saw no voltage drop on either radio when transmitting. I pushed both radios at full power transmitting on purpose to see what the power supply would do. No problems.

No hum, noise or buzz either!

Works Great! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I been using it to power my ICOM 718. I do not hear any induced noise on any band. As far as switching PS's go, I recommend it. Priced right; well made. The cooling fan cycles on and off as needed and is so quiet I have to put an ear close to PS to know it's running.

Great power supply Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I purchased my Alinco power supply about 30 days ago. Its powering my Icom 718 and a Yaesu Ft 11r in the mobile adapter. I have absolutely no noise. This supply is dead quit, runs cool and is easy on the eye. I'm not a big Alinco fan, I have had some of thier products before and I must say this one is well done. All I have done is made sure all my equipment had a good ground including the supply, tuner and 718 and it all works perfect.
Buy this supply if you need 30 amps or less.

Best... Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I own this power supply for more than 3 years.
I use a SLA Battery (12Ah)as floating back-up supply.
I have to change the fan but only because of my stupidity: once I saw it stopped and a figure that it was faulty. After replacement I find that the fan only runs when necessary.
I use it with:
FT857D, Kenwood TS2000X, Icom IC2100H, various other portable gear.
Never had a birdie or hum or HF noise.
Very happy about this power supply! Also very comfortable for transport.
Before this I owned various linear and switching power supply from other manufacturers and HM.
