Awesome HF Monobander Time Owned: unknown months.
I have had the M2 10M4 up for two-and-a-half years now and am very pleased. It is only up at 35' on a US Towers TM-433HD crankup. Even at this low height, the yagi performs amazingly well. In the 1998 ARRL 10 Meter Contest, I made over 860 QSOs with only 100 watts! It has good front-to-back and no funny sidelobes. The hardware is superior. The mechanical construction is superb. I would recommend this antenna over any of the competitors. The boom length is 23 feet, turning radius 14 feet, wind area 3.7 square feet, weight 23 lbs., 8.7 dBd gain, 25 dB front-to-back. It can be optimized for your preferred part of the band. I've set mine up for "low phone." Please note this is the old 10M4 and not the new 10M4DX. The differences are only slight.
