Excellent quality & price! Fast delivery! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Just ONE of the above qualities, today unfortunately, makes for an ok product. Breedlove hits all the qualities! Don't mess around... they deliver a quality product at a great price. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered the 703 large vert pocket bracket for a Scorpion 80-10m and a smaller short 930 pocket bracket for Comet tribander. Both are perfect.

Fastest install ever! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I ordered the EZN long stake pocket bracket (#910), as well as the stud mount to SO-239 (#207). The two items showed up as one unit and ready for install.

It took me longer to open the box than it did to install this mount. The mount fit the right front stake pocket of my Silverado perfectly and did not interfere at all with my Bakflip bed cover. I tightened the screws and the clamps grabbed the inside pocket lips with authority - this mount ain't going nowhere! If your stake holes are open and you don't want to drill holes in your fenders, this mount is the one you want.

This mount is ridiculously robust - you could tie a rope around it and repel off it! It's thicker and stronger than the truck it's mounted on!

25 years ago I used a stake mount on my F150 and that thing, with it's compressed chuck of rubber, was garbage - but it was all that was available then. Times have changed, some things have gotten better and I'm thankful that a competent machinist like Breedlove is making top-shelf products like this so we can play radio on the road. Well done!

Solid and well engineered Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Had been looking for a way to mount my Tarheel 75A onto my Ford F-150 with out drilling mounting holes. After several searched and reviews I chose the Breedlove Stake Pocket mount Camper version for mounting under the frame of a tonneau cover. Their WEB site had great pictures and also descriptions of two type of stake holes. My truck had the cup type of hole as described on the WEB site. I took the measurements and they made a custom mount for my truck. The installation was easy and when complete I was impressed by the design and quality of workmanship. The mound easily went under my cover and is a very sturdy well attached mount.

Best Quick Disconnect made for tarheel II antennas---$30.00 + s Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I just received my Breedlove Quick Disconnect
antenna mounting that I purchased for use with a Tarheel II antenna. Delivery was swift and the product machined from very high quality brass is very well made. Tightens up real well but also allows the removal of the antenna quickly for storage in the vehicle and out of sight.
If your looking for a quick disconnebt for a tarheel II or other screwdriver antennas this is the one you should purchase--$30+ shipping

NO more messing around Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
My mounts came yesterday. I bought a 3" puck and a ball-mount with 4.5" plates. Both are equipped with quick connect fittings.

I spent the rest of the evening mounting them to the mobile. I'll run some new coax today.

These mounts are fantastic. They might seem expensive at the checkout button, but their mass and simplicity and machine work make you forget all that when you open the box.

I put the ball mount on my LR fender (as our state police used to run their low-band antennas). I mounted the puck center rear of the deck lid. Simple and rugged, I don't know what else anyone could want in a mobile mount for HF.

Note that you'll not get any paperwork or email hoopla-just good mounts. I ordered on the 3rd of July and received my order on the 7th.

If I ever need another mobile mount, I'll buy Breedlove. That's the bottom line.

Strong and good looking Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I have a 2014 GMC Sierra with a tonneau cover and I recently completed my mobile installation. Yes, you saw me on the road to Dayton. Jerry's mounts fit perfectly in the stake pockets and hold my Tarheel and Larsen antennas securely. These mounts are beautiful and very solid. In addition, I have a quick disconnect so removal of the antennas before the car wash is a snap. Jerry's service is very fast and he answers all emails. I cannot imagine a better place to do business.

Solid machining at a cheap price Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've ordered a number of things from Jerry over the years. Every one of the has performed as expected. Whenever I have questions, a quick email exchange generally clears up any misunderstanding.

Once I get any of the mounts (or whatever I order), I generally modify them to fit into my exact situation. I drill and tap accessory points and security straps, THEN I put some type of finish on the item. All of the aluminum parts I've received have been without a finish or in it's raw form. I generally make my modifications then powdercoat. His brass parts are finish quality IMO.

I have spoken to Jerry a few times over the years. Always very polite and willing to answer any questions he can.

Recently, I ordered one of the Scorpion foldovers. Jerry was out of the material, so he immediately sent an email to advise that he had received the order but could not get it out the door immediately. I have no problem with this and was appreciative of a business taking the time to inform it's customers when there will be a delay. I believe that most complaints of poor customer service boil down to a lack of communication. This has never been an issue with Jerry.

As for the mount, I believe it is perfect. It is well made and does it's job without issue. Perhaps that I what I like about Breedlove products. They are not the most aesthetically pleasing products like so many other manufacturers seem to produce, but they are uncompromising when it comes to function.

I value function and reliability FAR above aesthetics. Jerry's products are not ugly by any stretch, but the true beauty is in the design.

The mount is BEEFY, solid aluminum block. Jerry includes an easy to understand instruction sheet and even the required allen wrench. The product came together perfectly and installed without issue.

Now, I do not treat my antennas with kid gloves. Anything that is going onto my vehicles must survive weather extremes, heavy offroad use, and little maintenance. The robust Breedlove foldover perfectly compliments the superb design strength of the Scorpion.

In just a week since receiving the order, I already have almost 1k miles on the truck. This is through the unforgiving Wyoming winter. It is so unforgiving that you can look at K0BG's site and see his pics of broken antennas. Some of those pics came from my trucks.

I frequently walk over and vigorously shake the antenna and mount. Again, I am not gentle. I give it hell. The whole truck moves and jostles, but the mount and antenna are rock solid. I did have to do some work to prevent the mount from rotating, but I expected that. I even took some photos and sent them to Jerry. If anybody has the same problem, feel free to email me. I will send you the pics.

All in all, I love it. I can now put my oversize whip onto the antenna, but still drive around town without damage. I use the low bands and am uncompromising when it comes to antenna efficiency. In the vertical position, the antenna is almost 16 feet tall. But with Jerry's foldover, I can easily fit anywhere. And a simple loosening of a few allen bolts will let me put it back to vertical.

I won't ramble anymore, but you get the point of my thought.

Extremely Poor Design Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I bought a stake pocket mount that is completely unusable with my 2017 Ram 1500 with a tonneau cover. No thought was put into this mount at all other than to drill five holes. It does NOT fit over side rails as is advertised, the metal plate is ridiculously thick and prohibits the tonneau from closing, the NMO mount itself is centered and conflicts with the tonneau- all of which could have been thought of during design. He did offer to make one custom for me for $10 extra if I sent dimensions, so I designed on in CAD and he said he wasn't able to use that. I'll just get it 3d printed in stainless and sell the drawing myself instead of giving him a true thoughtful design. Now I'm going into hurricane Irma without an antenna- I couldn't eve MAKE his mount work. Unless you have a beat up 1974 truck without a tonneau, forget Breedlove.

Superb quality Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I was looking for a fender ball mount that could be used for 6 or 10 meter FM. The ball mounts from commercial antenna manufacturers are unfortunately very poor quality mechanically and prone to rust. Jerry's hardware is all brass or stainless steel and extremely robust. The ball mounts are also more compact than commercial units. I am very pleased with his mounts and accessories. I found Breedlove Mounts at the K0BG web site at www.k0bg.com

Update: Solid product, be prepared to do metalwork Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Update to my previous review. I've raised the rating to a three. The mount itself is well made, very solid, and when installed provides a very neat and clean appearance. There are visible machining marks if you worry about that sort of thing.
This would be a 5 if it wasn't for the fact that I had to cut sheet metal away inside my stake hole to make the mount work.
I provided, via email, the truck make, model, and year along with the make and model of my antenna to the manufacturer, asking what was needed. After ordering what he recommended, it arrived and we discovered that it would not work without cutting large slots forward and aft in the stake hole pocket for the clamps. Because there is not another similar mount that feeds neatly from inside the pocket, I cut the truck rather than send the mount back. While I'm happy with the result, I think someone who is in the business of selling pickup truck stake hole antenna mounts should maybe have a reference list of the roughly five standard stake hole sizes and pocket dimensions so they can recommend the correct mount, or ask for dimensions, or even just say they don't know. $80 is an expensive mount when competitors are $20, so the mount should come with excellent service and product knowledge.
My two cents.
