Well it’s time to back up the last review on this extraordinary microphone. I was talking to Dr. Heil on the air about this mic. He seemed very excited about the
response it has received from performing artists around the world. I just had to try it and Wow !! Like an RE-20 on steroids with lots of output gain. The second
thing you hear is the low end response which is Big and clean. This mic will capture every octave in your voice for a clean full sound. I have too many microphone
to use on Ham radio, but now this one is my go to mic. It feels like a super mic when you pick it up. Solid with a non-slip coating and a unique style. Recently it went
head to head with the new Shure KSM-8 at almost twice the price. No comparison in my opinion, the sound and proximity /pee pops were best on the PR-35. My
guess, it may have a similar element that is used on the PR-30 microphone. That is another sleeper that sounds great, but not mentioned very much. Thank you
Bob for the new technology in this exceptional microphone.

Excellent Microphone Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Just wanted to try one of these on my TS-2000 to see how well it would work and I must say that it works very well. Compared to the PR-40 I was using I will say that it definitely has more output and seems to produce more bass into the audio. I know the specs show the PR-40 to extend down lower in frequency but it does not produce as much bass response on my TS-2000 as the PR-35 for some reason. Fed straight into the front mic input of the 2000 the transmit audio is very very good. I use the TX EQ set on "H BOOST" with no processor and the mic gain at 45. The audio response seems to be well balanced with a very good bottom end and real good high end articulation. The mic does have a bass roll off switch on it so if you don't like all the bass you can roll off either -3db or -6db. I have tried it all three ways and the -3db position also sounds very nice and still has plenty of bass response. The mic is very well made and feels like a high quality mic in your hand. I am very pleased with the results I'm getting with it paired to my TS-2000.
