Working flawlessly for nine years in my truck Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This small unit pairs nicely with my IC-7000 mobile radio, both of which have performed flawlessly for over nine years now in mobile operation. The environment has ranged from -10°F to over 100°F and includes some rough road traveling.

Great tuner! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I bought this tuner to use with my Icom 7100. It tunes everything on all bands and its size matches with my radio nicely. My current setup is with a Chameleon EMCOMM II, and it tunes that beautifully. My only complaint would be that it's loud while it tunes, but for the location I have it, that's not really an issue. Highly recommended.

This Little Tuner does the job! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have an OCF dipole to match on 10 thru 80 meters and this little tuner does the job. I get SWRs of 1.5 or less across all bands - many bands down to 1.2! For my antenna it provides better matches than my KAT500. I use it with an ICOM 7200 running 100 watts. Unfortunately it no longer seems to be for sale by LDG.

Tunes everything Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Use with IC7300 and tunes both ocf dipole and vertical on all bands 80-6.A bit noisy but who cares,it works!

An RF Accessory That Can't Handle RF Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This has to be one of the worst designed tuners I've used. I can't possibly imagine how anyone thought it was a good idea for an RF device to not be able to handle RF. Apparently I can choose to have this as an auto-tuner or have the rest of my station connected.

It's the only device I've ever had in the shack that refuses to operate if even the microphone is plugged in.

Fine product Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I use this tuner for about two years now with my Icom IC-7200. Antenna is a Fritzel GPA-30. This antenna is tri-bander for 10 - 15 - 20 MTR. I tune it with this tuner also for 12 - 17 - 30 - 40 MTR. without any problem. Guess what I use it on all these bands in digital modes with 100 Watts 100% duty cycle and never had any problems. Of course the antenna has its limitations for the bands not suiteble but still manage to work stateside on 40 MTR. from Europe (Rotterdam). Read the comments but never fried it here. 73, Frans PA0FBR

Just plain works! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have used an IT-100 in my minivan for several years (2-3?). I am located in the Tuscon area and the tuner has been installed UNDER the passenger seat. Needless to say, I gets HOT under there (as well as the entire interior of the van in general). It has never 'missed a lick'. It just plain WORKS.

Recently I got another one with the intention of using it in the shack, with a Ten Tec Pegasus. After I purchased it, I realized it is an IT (as in ICOM radios!) No biggie, I wired it up to use with the Peg (also 'no biggie') and it works amazingly well. I have used it to operate on the 60m band using my 80/40/30m antenna installation, which has an SWR, on 60m, of somewhere between 3 to 1 and INFINITY. No problem for the IT-100. It gets the SWR down to, you guessed it, 1.0, as in flat, as in perfect, as in "slap your Granny".

So, as a result of mobile and fixed station operation, with two IT-100s,I can say, without hesitation, they can't be beat.

I hope this is helpful.

Larry

Love it and it-7000 Time Owned: N.A.
I have an IC-7000 in my truck with the AT-7000 and an IC-7000 with the IT-100 in the shack that I take for portable operating. Both work perfectly with my radios and have a wide range of tuning. I also use the IT-100 with my 9:1 UNUN and 53 feet of antenna and a 33 foot counterpoise. Loads all bands 40 meters and up. I haven't tried any bands lower than 40 meters. I should do that on my SOTA activation this week.

Impressive tuning capability! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I bought this to go with the IC-7100 that I use on our boat. I brought it back to the house to test it on my fixed antennae, but was not paying enough attention and accidentally swapped the HF and VHF antennae. I was thinking that the sensitivity was a bit disappointing until I realised that I had made a 5&5 SSB voice QSO with a French station two or three hundred miles away on 14 MHz through a 2m collinear vertical - the LDG IT-100 got the SWR down to just over 2:1!

Connected to a proper multi-band HF vertical, the results are excellent...

updated review Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I don't normally post multiple reviews for products, but this little tuner deserves another "5".
As I stated in a previous review, I operate FD on my buddy's farm. I use my 706g on a HUGE backhoe battery. I had used the little MFJ mobile tuner in the past, but I spent more time trying to get a match on my OCF dipole than actually making contacts (when switching bands). Regardless of a 'chart', it's just touchy....
I operated a few hours again this year with the IT-100. The difference is hard to describe, just switch bands on the 706, hit 'tune', instantly there with NO SWR.
Trying to protect the un-obtanium finals in the 706g that I hand carried back from Tokyo, the week it was announced.
I could NOT be more pleased with such a simple, efficient piece of gear!
