Good Price - Good Tuner Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Brand new to this tuner. One quick note, bypass mode still requires less than 30 watts max for digital. No break there. I am using this on a Butternut HF6V. Tunes all bands, 10m, 12m, 15m, 17n, 20m, and 40m without difficulty. Struggles with the very sharp resonances on 75/80m. I am using a manual MFJ to get the 75/80m impedance close, less than 2.5:1 and then let the LDG finish. I realize this does nothing to improve the power but it keeps the LDG out of bypass.

See for yourself, its a great tuner Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Had two of these and both worked great! My first one I sold (big mistake) so I purchased another one. Had no problems tuning on 160, 80, 40 or any other band. I was using an 160 meter end fed. I also tried this on my 160 dipole with the same results.

excellent unit Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I have used the LDG IT-100 for 6 months with my Icom IC7000 and it is a perfect match. Love it and the fact you can use the rig's tune button instead of the tune button on the tuner. Lightening fast the second time around on the antenna and frequency. Buy it you will love it!! Cannot fault it for any reason whatever.

100 W SSB ONLY Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
It is a great 100 watt SSB/CW tuner. Read the spec's. It is only good for 125 watts SSB/CW. It is limited to 30 watts PSK31!

That means in a full power mode like PSK31, RTTY or DSTAR HF VOICE you CANNOT RUN MORE THAN 30 WATTS MAX.

More than one It-100 has been burned up trying to run 100 watts DSTAR HF Voice.

ZAP ! AND IT'S TUNED! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Used the IT-100 with the IC-7000 for several years and now with the IC-7100 Always matches, nearly instantly once it has the freq memorized the first time. Hams having "problems" with it might want to make sure the tuner, as well as the rig, is properly grounded. This stuff doesn't always like RF floating around aimlessly..... KK8ZZ

Only Adequate Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
This product it seems is only just adequate for mobile operations. I would seriously not recommend this unit to be used as a base station tuner.

If you have a desire to run digital modes from your station, you are dolefully limited to a paltry 30 watts. Anything more I guess, the unit will likely melt.

Perfect Match Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Going on 2 yrs mobile with IC7000. Just push tune button on 7000 and wala, in a split second or a few seconds in some cases you are dialed in and ready to go. Also run the YT100 on the 857D in the other mobile. Not quite as slick to operate as the Icom, but both have been quick to tune and trouble free. Highly recommended!

Will not tune end fed antenna properly. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have a IT 100 with a Icom IC7100.
I purchased the tuner to tune a EZ end fed antenna.
The antenna incorporates a 9 .1 balun and should tune easily with an external tuner.
All users of the EZ Antenna say it tunes from 160m to 6m with a low SWR.
Not the IT 100!
It will not tune 160 or 80m bands annd the best it can achieve on 40m is 2.5 . 1
If you have an end fed antenna don't buy the IT 100.

Read the manual before purchasing Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I purchased the LDG IT-100 for use with my Icom IC-7100. It seems to do a respectable job matching the radio to either of my antennas, a Hustler 5BTV vertical and a home built 80 meter dipole. All the ads for this tuner suggest it was a good choice for a 100 watt radio. What the ads didn't mention was that LDG only rates the tuner for 30 watts with digital modes. You only find this out once you dig into the manual. If you use more than 30 watts output for digital modes you might want to look for a different tuner.

4 years, hasn't missed a beat Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Tunes just about anything within reason. Does it quickly. Never caused me any problems. Documentation gives you all kinds of info - cable pinouts for example.

Been using it with my 706mk2g as a base station for the past 4 years without a hitch. Strongly recommended.
