Reviews: 2MSRP: 93.00
Description:
The UC-4364-328 is a compact Quadrifilar Helix antenna (8 cm/3" OD x 16 cm/6" H) designed to operate through Amateur Radio satellites, without requiring an antenna rotator. The goal of this product is to offer Amateurs with severe space or community restrictions the ability to receive 70 cm HamSat signals, and communicate through orbiting repeaters (transponders). The antenna can be ordered in either a RHCP (Right Hand Circular Polarization) or LHCP (Left Hand Circular Polarization) version along with a variety of connectors (SO-239, N, BNC, TNC & SMA). The antenna is rated at 50 watts continuous power

The Go-To True Omni Satellite Antenna Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I purchased a complete set for Amateur Satellites while I was in Texas; since I was about to move to Florida in a few months, I tried my Quadrifilar Helix Satellite antennas a couple of times before I moved and was amazed with the performance.
Now that I'm currently in Florida, I place these antennas out in the yard with each one on a telescoping tripod. The performance is jaw dropping excellent. These antennas work so well, my 15 minute setup for my Leo-Pack has not been utilized as much as I was expecting. These Quadrifilar Helix Satellite antennas make my Linear Sat communications so simple. My interest in the FM Sat's is limited since I've always thought activity level is too much at the contest level for me to find enjoyable.
Any further questions; please feel free Email me, I'd be glad the help.

Works like a champ! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have the first "high power" model produced. It is the RHCP version and covers 435-438 MHz. It is mounted on a 10' pole on the roof, fed into a mast mounted SSB UHF preamp (another SUPERB product). It hears extremely well and fading is minimized due to it's circular polarization characteristics. It does equally well on transmit working VO-52 and on receive working AO-51. There are some audio recordings of satellite QSOs by K6JEB made using the antenna mounted a foot off of the ground available from their web site.

This antenna replaced a home grown turnstile moxon based on a Cebik W4RNL (SK) design that did a very good job.

I have been told that a VHF version of the Quadrifilar Helix will become available within the next 2-4 weeks. I'll be getting one of those too.
